The Luhrs 38' Open is a beautiful, versatile and feature-packed fishing machine, offering everything you could want in a sport fishermen. Built on a wide, low-profile hull with cored hull sides, the 38' Open is a roomy and highly capable offshore boat. Her large bi- level cockpit layout includes a unique centerline helm console, with full- length lounge seating, a molded transom fish box, and a full tower. Below, the interior features a quite spacious layout and stylish decor. Engine access is easy with the hydraulic bridge deck lift mechanism for superb engine room access. Additional features include a concealed electronics display at the helm and side engine exhausts. This is a good-running boat with excellent range, ready to fish, and cruise. Very comfortable!

The Luhrs 380 Open, later called the 40 Open and 38 Open, is a big,

feature-packed fishing machine. Built on a wide, low-profile hull,

it is a roomy boat offering plenty of space for guests and crew.

Standard features are the tuna tower and hydraulic bridge deck lift

mechanism. USCG Documentation: 1025080 good through March 2020.This Luhrs shows very low hours on her 435hp Detroit Turbodiesels, which run very smoothly (video available), and provide good fuel mileage at an 18-kt cruise. If you haven't been offshore in a 380 Open, you'll be so impressed with the comfort, security and easy handling of this excellent sportfish. As a charterboat, she's very attractive, offering lots of fishing space, in addition to comfort and conveniences for guests. One of the issues this model deals with, is a 'soft' plywood flybridge deck. That's the case with this boat, but you know it's fairly simple and inexpense to replace. You're welcome to have your surveyor check it out. I can arrange haulout and trucking, if required. The boat is currently in the water, as the pictures indicate.
