Lonestar EL Dorado

A classic 18' hardtop lone star El Dorado completely restored from ground up with new 70hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard. Engine has 19 hours and is in perfect condition. I located this hull in Tennessee and was amazed at the condition of the hull. I've looked at many of these boats with lots of dents and dings so I was very pleased to find this on in such good condition. I blasted the entire boat and coated it with epoxy primer and top coated it with an industrial acrylic urethane made for painting heavy equipment such as bulldozers, skidders, tractors and such. I used high density Styrofoam in all floor and gunnel spaces so the entire boat has lots of flotation under floor and behind side panels. The hull is made from aircraft aluminum that is very strong and light...780 lbs.hull weight.I had a new lexan windshield fabricated and new sliding side windows are installed.The new dash was made from a solid mahogany 2x8 and I made side panels, fuel tank and battery storage boxes from mahogany and teak wood strips with teak deck caulking between planks. The boat has been wired with all new lighting including LED under the gunnel strips, cabin and berth lights. The original horn still works and is impressive.I had the steering wheel refinished, the steering unit and cable are new. I've installed a new infinity Bluetooth stereo with speakers. New tires and rims on the rebuilt trailer with all new rollers, bunks, winch and trailer jack. Please feel free to ask any questions.
