This is a real unique boat. It is a 1965 Lone Star made in Texas. The Lone Star company was bought by Chrysler boats right after this boat was made. I have poured new floatation foam in the hull and installed new plywood and sealed it with several coats of epoxy. There is brand new marine carpet and 4 new pedestal seats. The steering is all new to replace the pulley system with a single modern cable. Fresh paint inside and out. There is a lot of storage in the bow and along the bunks. The closed bow also opens up and the center windshield slides down and forward to create a mini open bow. The boat is registered in Michigan until 2017 so transfer will be easy. The trailer has no registration so a new one will have to be acquired at thesecretary ofstate.
Things that still need to be completed is hooking up the lights, speedometerand horn and it could use a bilge pump as an older aluminum boat does seep a slight bit of water. The Mercury outboard does run. I had it out on the lake last weekend and you can see from the video it moves good. I had it up to 30mph with my GPS based speedo app. All that said, it could still use a tune up becauseitdoesn't want to start or idle very well. Itdoes have a new impeller pump and starter solenoid.
I just ran out of time on this one and I need to move italongto someonewho can put the finishing touches on it.
I also have theboat advertised locally,soI may end thelisting early ifit sells another way.
