Larson DC 300

1989 Larson Contempra DC 300. I've owned this boat for over 11 years now, and completed a major refit from 2007-2009, and in the fall-winter of 2017, completed another big maintenance/upgrades.The boat is currently docked in Harrison Township MI on Lake St. Clair, and dockage+ winter storage is paid for. It cost me $2800, and I will transfer it to you. It includes winter haulout and blocking as well.This is a 29 year old boat, and has plenty of flaws, but overall can be a nice boat for you. I'd like to be sure I give as many details as possible so you can make an informed decision.I want to be sure you see the bad first, so you don't waste your time reading if you can't handle a mechanical repair:-I am selling because I just don't have time for it anymore...I've moved for work, and need to move on.--------The port side sterndrive has a bad forward gear. So...only one engine right now has forward. They both run fine. I used it for a 40 mile cruise in May, then on father's day, coming up on plane, forward in the port drive went out.---------The boat has two Sterndrive Engineering SE 106 drives. The boat would need to be hauled out of the water, and have the lower replaced. A new lower is $795 from SE. A haulout is $300The Good:Overall hull in good shape, has some scratches, scrapes and nicks as you'd expect with a 30 year old boat.-Full tank of fuel-137 gallons pumped in June 2018-New Bottom paint spring 2018-ablative black-New Taco Marine semi-rigid rubrail system installed 2018-Hull completely compounded and buffed 2018-three deck hatches resealed, and frames powdercoated 2018-Windshield removed, stripped, powdercoated, resealed, and reinstalled 2018-New bimini tops, and camper enclosure 2018-All new cockpit upholstery, including newly fabricated captain's chair, and completely new cockpit benches. All in 2018-Two new wiper motors, arms, and blades-New gauge panel (gauges are 7 years old) new switch labels, and rubber boots 2018-Cockpit bar top solid mahogany, refinished in 2018, new cup holders added-new cockpit speakers-new cockpit lighting-there are 4 lights in the bench seats that still need to be hooked up-new horn-super loud air-horn-new beckson deck vent for head-head rebuilt in 2013. Vacuflush unit. Macerated pump may need service soon. Still works, but hasnt been serviced. -Entire cabin refit in 2009. Looks beautiful. boat was gutted. I am a cabinet maker, and I did all the work...it looks awesome!-Power winch 36' class windlass installed in 2015. works fine.-Galley has Norcold dual voltage fridge that works well on 12V and shore power-Galley also has Origo dual fuel stove with two new alcohol canisters. Purchased 2018 for nearly $200-Solid Beech cutting boards on stove and sink. I made them, like I said I am a cabinet maker...they're nice-Raymarine A65 Chartplotter which is connected to the standard horizon VHF works well. All electronics are included with the boat. the VHF displays GPS coordinates perfectly in conjunction with the Raymarine-Ritchie SS compass new in 2011, sun cover always used...compass is in great shape. ENGINE ROOM-Engines have 170 hours since rebuilt in 2009. The engines are twin MerCruiser 5.7L/260 350 GM blocks. -Two new blowers-Water heater refurbished-New air compressor for the horn-Two bilge pumps...one is new, both new discharge hoses-Newer Edelbrock performer carburetors installed in 2012-Spark plug wires in 2015STERNDRIVES-New genuine mercury/quicksilver bellows installed fall 2017-New transom shift cables fall 2017-New steering arms and pivot pins installed which removed slop from left to right steering. These were over $600 for the parts alone-New trim senders and limit switches-New nuts and boltsAll Hardware was rebedded in 2018 including drainplug, bow rail, and anything else fastened to deck.There's more I can't remember.Anything not specifically listed here is not included.6 dock lines will be included. New throwable flotation cushion, and line included.There is no TV included, but the boat does have a nice digital antenna on the radar arch, as well as the salon, and forward cabin have the antenna hookupsTable on transom that has cover on it is not includedmugs with rack in salon are not included. mug rack is not includedcutlery rack in galley is not includedI will include the brand new shore power cord...cost me $100 this year.Boat possession will be taken as-is, where is at marina in Harrison Township MI
