Good Day to all, up for auction is my 1989 22' Larson Cuddy Cabin. I have owned this vessel since April 2012, clear title in hand. Since purchase I have invested a good amount of money and time on this pleasure boat. I started in the heart of it all, the engine. I sent it to Sea-Bay Marine in Fort Lauderdale, FL and had them replace the old beat up retired engine to a BRAND NEW PCM 5.7 Liter HO 315HP VORTEC BOBTAIL I/O. Followed by shift cables, u-joint bellows, exhaust reservoir assembly for tilt and trim new engine coupler, redone fiberglass bilge, new fuel hose, bushings, rebuild power steering cylinder, pump, new exhaust tubes, etc. etc. repainted deck with 1 part polyurethane gloss white paint. Also added new radio, speakers, Stainless MAGMA BBQ Grill, 2 bilge pumps. The list goes on and on. Total investment $11,118.77 ++ I have actual receipt for everything done to vessel about 3 pages worth. The current engine hour meter reads 25. It is 100% accurate. I used the vessel numerous times with the family going to Elliot Key Jumping around sand bars around Key Biscayne to Bayside to Key West back to Hallover. It's a BLAST. Recently on the last trip the outdrive crapped out. When I initially did all work the outdrive was in good condition all I authorized to replace where seals, water pump and oil, so I did not bothered to replace unit. However I did not take into consideration the magnatude of tourque the current engine puts out about 400 LB-FT. Eventually with use, -the outdrive which is Pre-Alpfa - one had to give and it was the drive. I received a quote which I have the document for, too replace BRAND NEW with a no fault 3 year warranty is $1,800. I was thinking of replacing drive however I am transfering to Colorado thus need to sell and will not be able to replace. You need to see vessel in person to really appreciate the time and effort that was placed into Victoria. The trailer is in good shape as you can see in the pictures ready to tow away. I have set reserve low that makes sense investing $1,800 to replace and still enjoy for years to come and retain its value however I will not sell for peanuts! If it does not sell I will just replace out drive and tow to its new home. If any questions arise please fell free to contact me at phone.
