WHAT OTHERS SAYLarson continues to build on its success enhancing its current line of successful models and expanding its reach like it is doing with this brand new model. The Larson Cabrio 350 brings the avid boater that is looking for comfort underway and value while they boat, something that will please everyone involved whether you are just a friend along for an evening sunset cruise or the family for a great weekend aboard.
This new model continues to use the proven Duo
Delta Conic hull design which delivers increased performance and
exceptional fuel economy which becomes more important with every
increase in the oil futures. Larson breaks new ground with this cruiser
offering the hard top as a standard on this model making it a
comfortable ride in just about any cruising condition so you can
eliminate those excuses so often ruining a wonderful weekend aboard!
Bow Features The
expansive bow offers a wonderful place to soak up the rays. When the
kids are up front, you can rest a bit easier knowing there are stainless
steel safety rails providing a measure of safety. In the bow you have
an anchor pulpit, rope locker large enough for most anchoring conditions
and a handy anchor windlass making the anchoring evolution a much less
stressful maneuver.
At the Helm Back under
the cover of the hardtop is an ultra modern helm station that will make
the most avid boater feel comfortable and the new cruising boater feel
safe. The multi-faceted automotive style helm will feel familiar to just
about everyone driving. Larson uses a combination of analog and digital
equipment and leaves room for you to customize the dash to your needs.
Our test boat had a Raymarine 48 VHF radio installed as well as a C80
color display making navigation simple. The steering was by a solid wood
tilt steering wheel with simulated burlwood accents around the helm. As
the sun crosses the helm, the colors really pop out at you! For the
drivers that enjoy standing while driving, or at least like the option
in heavy seas, a flip-up bolster makes for great room between the wheel
and the seat. You dont even have the cushion bouncing off the backs of
your legs in the chop! Like to having company while you are underway? A
curved chaise lounge offers an inviting area to relax and chat while
heading to your favorite hangout. elow the seats is ample room to store
away gear and goodies for the trip.
Room and Comfort Moving
back to the cockpit, you have a wide bench seat at the stern for many
more friends to relax underway. This unique seat can be used as storage
below the cushions or can be left at the dock completely when you decide
this trip is just for catching some dinner off-shore. Entertaining is
even easy with the wet bar positioned in the cockpit on the port side.
This unit has a refrigerator, small sink and a handy countertop for
preparing some quick snacks for everyone. Whether you relax in the sun
or chose to gather under the standard hardtop, the cockpit is a
wonderful place to enjoy the pleasure of cruising in the Larson style.
Heading further aft, the stern is another example of Larson doing things
right. The wide transom walkthrough makes it easy to head back for a
dip, even when hauling your favorite water toy from the lockers. The
gate helps keep the wee ones in the cockpit and provides one more level
of trickery for them to magically appear on the swim platform. This
platform is biggee sized like your burgers at your favorite drive
through. There is plenty of room to play or get your favorite water toy
ready to deploy. This one sports a handy flush mounted swim ladder and a
transom locker for fenders with a swim shower tucked inside. They even
have a wet locker in the sole of the platform.
Below Deck Of course to
qualify as a cruiser, you need a cabin. Larson does far more than
qualify, they surprise you with the space provided below using the
12-foot beam. Since most guys push six feet, or at least want to, they
have pushed the cabin overhead to six feet eight inches so even your
basketball buddies will feel comfortable below. Pretty amazing for an
express cruiser, right?! The galley features laminated cabinets with
rich granite looking countertops that are easy to maintain and spacious
enough to prepare a great meal underway. For cooking, you have a double
burner cooktop, microwave oven, and a small refrigerator. For
entertainment, Larson outfitted our boat with a 15-inch flat screen TV
complete with DVD player. This one is visible from the front berth and
the salon cabin. The salon has an S-shaped sofa for relaxing below as
well as an upscale dining area. When you need additional space for
sleeping, it converts to a berth for two. The forward berth is a raised
double berth surrounded by handy cabinets for personal items you want to
leave aboard. Good storage is also below the berth and a cedar lined
cabinet keeps your clothes fresh and ready. Convenient reading lights
allow you to read yourself into a wonderful nights sleep aboard. For
privacy, a curtain may be drawn across to separate you, from the salon.
Now for more room, Larson has developed one of the largest mid-cabins I
have seen for a boat this size. During the day it is a large
conversation pit and at night add, filler cushions to make a comfortable
berth for adults. The fiberglass head has a circular shower door like
you find on many much large yachts.SHIP TO AUSTRALIADELIVERY TO CANADASHIP TO MIDDLE-EASTSHIP TO EUROPESydney Brisbane Melbourne Fremantle

Importing a Boat to Australia
We have some of the best rates for RORO-shipping to Australia in the U.S. and we serve the ports of Brisbane, Adelaide, Port Kembla, Fremantle, and Melbourne. Whether you are a repeat customer or a first-time buyer, heres a few ips and reminders about buying, shipping, and importing boats and yachts to Australia from the U.S.Finding the right boat.Buying a boat from another country often means dealing with people that you never met or dealt with in the past. Theres tons of free classified ads and Craigs list-type re-advertisers on the internet with deals just too good to be true. If it sounds too good, then, youd guessed it, it probably is a scam.
Do your research. Be realistic. Partner up with a Pro (like us).
We suggest you deal with us. Each week we get shipping, export, and certification inquiries from some of the countrys well respected marine dealers. We work in close cooperation with country-wide brand name retailers such as Marinemax and with the brand stores of Regal, Chaparral, Monterey, Bayliner, Larson just to mention a few. We are a fully licensed Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier by the Federal Maritime Commission and as such we operate our own in-house shipping company. We have exclusive contracts with some of the largest steamship companies in the world. As one of the rather few NVOCCs we have the authority to buy and resell space on ocean-going cargo ships and issue our own bills of lading. What does this mean for you? As an individual? Well, by contacting us directly you are likely to save considerable time and money by dealing directly with the contract holder (as opposed to a string of middlemen).Buying a boat directly from us or through our brokerage divisionBoats International, Inc. is our own in-house discount boat dealership. We buy bulk trade-ins from the big retailers but we also buy from banks and individuals as well. For the past 20+ years our focus have been to absorb distressed inventory and floor-plan boats from cash-strapped dealers and resell these locally and overseas. As we now are completing our store expansion project (September, 2011) we will be able to take on even more inventory then in the past and also have space over to showcase brokerage and consignment boats. Most of our international buyers rely on our reputation and expertise as a key player on the U.S. domestic and international boat market and they seek our help to source the boat(s) that they seek. If we do not have what they seek in stock well be sure to find it through our network of dealers and banks for the right money. Whether your buying a stock boat from us or one from another dealer we are well equipped to assist you with every step from inspection to final delivery of your boat or yacht to Australia. Its main purpose is to prevent the international transport and spread of disease and insects that could negatively affect plants or ecosystems. ISPM 15 affects all wood packaging material (pallets, crates, dunnages, etc.) requiring that they be debarked and then heat treated or fumigated with methyl bromide and stamped or branded,[1] with a mark of compliance. This mark of compliance is colloquially known as the wheat stamp. Products exempt from the ISPM 15 are made from alternative material, like paper, plastic or wood panel products (i.e. OSB, hardboard, and plywood).Customs Broker Fees & Destination Charges in AustraliaTheres tons of websites out there claiming to be the know-it-all for import questions concerning boats & yachts to Australia. Fortunately, we are not one of them. While we can recommend quite a few competent companies in Australia it is ultimately up to you to pick a customs partner in your home port. As is true for all facets of our business we believe that there are no shortcuts to sustained success in business (or life for that matter). That said we recommend that you seek the advice of an Australian Customs Broker who is licensed by the Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia Inc CBFCA-Australia Website to inquire about recent legal and import changes pertaining to your planned import.
