LCU 1528 Lingayen GulfOriginally built for the US Army as an armored tank carrier.She returned from Vietnam in 1975 and has lived in the California delta in fresh water since.In 2011 we purchase her with no engine or machinery. We rigged her with reman Detroit 6v71s on wings and 6v92 center, refurbished 3:1 gearboxes and three genders 30kw, 25kw and 10kw.Im 2017 she went to the yard for massive re plate , new props , shafts , rebuilt rudders and hatches.
