History
Here is some quick history and background on this beautifulboat. Although I am selling this for the current owner, I was the previousowner and own the company that restored this boat. I was only the 2ndowner of the boat, and it was in our family since new. My father-in-law boughtit new in 2004 from the Landau dealer in Smithville, MO. It lived in Missouriuntil 2009 when we brought it to FL. The boat has always been stored undercover and the engine always flushed. In January 2023, we sold it to one of ourbest friends who just moved to FL, the contingency of them buying would be thatwe would completely restore/refurbish the boat from the hulls up. Theupholstery was shot and even though it was under cover it was 19 years oldwhich is what prompted restoration. With my friend buying I suggested it wouldbe worth the full restoration because since the boat had carpet (that's justwhat they did back then), we should upgrade to vinyl flooring, and if we dothat more than likely the wood flooring wouldnt survive so that should bereplaced plus the original deck was 19 years old. From February throughSeptember 2023, she underwent the complete restoration and was ready for hernew home in October. Since herrestoration she has only been splashed twice, once when I performed ashake-down cruise to check everything for the new owner and another time inMarch of this year when I took the new owner out for a 2-hour run. So, with hisbusy family schedule, they dont have time to use the boat they havent usedthe boat at all and have decided to sell it rather than have it just sitting instorage. So thats a quick rundown and why Im handling this for him, I knowevery square inch of this boat and would be the best to answer any questionsthat a potential buyer might have on her. I thought the background/history wasa necessary disclosure as to why Im handling this and that it should be knownthat this boat wasnt restored to be flipped, since Im in the industry I knowwhat parts and companies make the best quality parts and what brands to use andwhat not use. As you see in the description below, we used the best productsand items available because he went off my recommendation and we built it forhis family. He has more than the asking price in the boat and parts and, that doesntinclude the labor costs. But again, we werent building it for a profit ratherit was built for quality.
Boat Details
This 2004 Landau Conquest 20 with its 2004 Suzuki DF70 is inperfect condition with a little over 500 hours on it. So dont let the yearfool you! This vessel is a complete rebuild, not a refresh. In 2023, the boat underwenta complete rebuild and many upgraded systems. The only original components arethe hulls (pontoons), structural frame, railings, and the engine. Most of thewiring has also been upgraded to Ancor brand tin-coated copper type 3 marinewire. The following was replaced and upgraded; Marine treated decking, marinevinyl flooring, wiring upgrade, complete furniture replacement, new powerBimini top, and new custom boat cover. She has a custom upgraded dash panelthat houses a full function Simrad NSS 7 evo3 MFD/GPS/Sounder, (2) Simrad IS35multi-Displays that all will display engine, fuel tank, sonar/fish finder, andGPS mapping data. The Fusion BB110 dual zone black box stereo, JL AudioM400/4 4 channel amplifier, Bazooka 10-inch powered subwoofer, and networkbackbone are all located inside the console. The rebuild was very extensive andreassembled with all new hardware and better hardware than what Pontoon boat manufacturersuse since they focus their boats on freshwater lakes, this one has been rebuiltfor saltwater use since its down here in FL and built to last another 20years. The old deck had carpet on it which lasted a long time it was time togo, so that was removed and even though the decking material wasnt rotten wereplaced all the decking material with 4x8.5sheets of marine treated marine-treated plywood designed to be pontoon flooring. It was crazy, thefactory used 4x8 sheets and used pieces added to the ends to fill the extra6 for the width, so this is way better and makes for a nice smooth floor. Thedecking material is through-bolted and screwed down to the cross-members,unlike most other brands where the decking is just screwed to thecross-members. The pontoons/hulls are a U-shape design. They are attached tothe cross-members directly (most pontoon boats have a spacer/bracket thatattaches the pontoons to the cross-member frame system) making this a muchstronger design. It doesnt have the flexing of the cross-member that otherpontoon boats are cursed with the spacer system. These U-shaped pontoons aremuch better at performing than the typical round or oval-style pontoons, theboat runs and cuts through the water like a cat-style boat, rather thanfloating over the waves. There are not any dents, cuts, or repairs on thepontoons/hulls. The cross-members have all been inspected and if there was anycorrosion (there were a couple of spots towards the rear ones) on them it waslight and was cleaned off and treated with a Sharkhide metal protectant to helpprotect it. The hulls also had a fresh treatment of Sharkhide applied in Sept.2023. On the rear of the hulls/pontoons are the underwater lights (replaced in 2023),Livewell pump, and Simrad Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer. In 2018, thesteering cable was replaced with a new Teleflex Safe-T QC cable, I bring thatup here because it needed to be replaced because the factory had it comingthrough the aluminum side trim and over the years it was cutting the outersheath and the cable corroded, I installed a 14 piece of PVC over the newcable as a chafe guard to keep it from chafing the new cable. The deck layoutis a Cruise/Fish style with 2 seats up from, L-shape seating on the Port rearside with a sundeck on the rear half, Helm console on the Starboard side slightmidship with a large reclining Captains helm seat. It has 2 deluxe captain-style chairs up front witha storage pod on both sides, the Starboard pod has a live-well capability, andthe port side has top storage with a drain. The railing/fencing is originalwith only a medium-sized dent on the Port rear side, the exterior paint was allacid stripped and then vinyl wrapped in matte black marine cheetah brand wrap. The interior paint on the side panels is in great shape so it was leftoriginal. On the console, all of the analog gauges were removed, and the enginewas networked to the flush-mounted Simrad NSS 7evo3 MFD and 2 Simrad 3.5monitor screens that display all of the engine and fuel details. The switcheson the dash work the cockpit, Navigation, and Underwater lights. A huge upgradefor this boat (or really any pontoon boat) is the powered Bimini top! Its sonice not to have to worry about straps or braces to disconnect to lower orraise the top. The Sureshade Powered Bimini top is a generous 10 x 8.5 blacksunbrella material and can be controlled via the switch on the dash or thewireless remote control. Its really a nice feature that you can position it toblock the sun from various angles too. The furniture was replaced (notreupholstered), this includes all of the bases, pedestals, cushions,seats/chairs, and the entire sundeck as well. The interior seating is all DeckMateLux Pontoon Boat Seats brand that is Tan & Beige in color with diamondcross-stitching. They feature 32 oz marine grade seat vinyl that is coated andtreated to exceed industry standards for UV and mildew resistance. They alsocome with a 6-year warranty. There is no wood (unlike the OEM) in the furnitureseat bases, so there wont be any rot. The Woven Vinyl flooring is stain-resistantand easy to clean, has 3000 hours of UV stability so it won't fall apart in thesun, mold/mildew-resistant, marine-grade vinyl, and is thick 140 milmarine-grade vinyl flooring. The stereo system consists of a brand-new FusionMSBB100 black box 4-channel dual zone stereo (controlled via wird remote, theFusion BT App, wireless remote, and through the Simrad MFD) connected to a JLAudio 400-watt marine amplifier and 4 JL Audio M6 series Gunmetal/Titanium withinternal LEDs speakers. The speaker sizes are a pair 8.8(in front pods) and apair 6.5 (in the rear seating bases). The10 subwoofer is in its own cabinet and has its own 400-watt amp built in. Thatis all hooked up to zone 1, on zone 2 is a pair of MX series 6.5 speakers inthe rear-facing custom cabinet.
Engine Details
The engine is a 2004 Suzuki DF70 four-stroke engine thatproduces 70 horsepower and gives a cruise speed between 12kts 15kts and a topspeed of around 21kts depending on the load. A full 100hr service was performedin September 2023 and only 2 hours have been put on the engine since thatservice. The service included the following: Engine oil drain/replacement10w-30, engine oil filter, Engine fuel filter, Gear oil drain/replacement,Suzuki OEM water pump (non-housing) replacement which included all of thegaskets/seals and wear plate, Suzuki thermostat, and engine block zinc anodes. Also, it should be noted, that the crush washer for the oil drain andgearcase fill/drain washers, were replaced at the same time. The gearcase wasresealed in July 2020 by Southeastern Marine, who is an Authorized Suzukidealer/service center. The gearcase didnt have a leak, I just wanted it donesince the seals were 15 years old at the time. At the same time, I replaced theshift and throttle cables with Suzuki OEM cables. The 30-gallon syntheticplastic fuel tank is located on the port side under the sun deck and is connectedto the network that sends the fuel level to the Simrad instrumentation. Thefuel lines and fuel bulb were replaced in 2022, from the fuel tank to theseparator and from the separator to the engine with Shields series 368 marinefuel hose. There is a brand new 10-amp Dual onboard battery charger installed. The rear compartment houses a pair of JL Audio 6.5 speakers, dual batteries, abattery charger and battery switch. The rear-facing speakers are nice for atthe sandbar or while in the water without having to turn up the whole boat. Theunderwater lights are blue and were replaced during the rebuild as well with onelocated on each pontoon.
The following itemsare included with the sale; Original manuals (even an engine service manual), aspare OEM Suzuki Alum propeller with a new hub, life jackets, a new safetyequipment kit, 2 anchors with rode (one main anchor and one stern anchor), 4dock lines, a console cover, an engine cover, and a brand new black custom fullboat cover with sandbags (no need for snaps to replace or corrode. Since thereisnt a warranty available for the engine, and to show our confidence in theengine, we will include a one-year subscription to either US Tow Boats or SeaTow to the new buyer. This pontoon is set up perfectly for either the lake orsaltwater coastal cruising! The boat is located at a High-n-Dry marina inCortez, FL. To view it we will need to set up an appointment so they can haveit pulled.
There is not a trailer available, but they are pretty easyto locate.

The walk-throughand sea trial videos give a lot of information and provide more views of the interior.I will try to get down to the boat to grab some more detailed pictures of theinterior.
