Questions
Hello. Is this craft still available or has it sold? Cant find it on ebay.
This ad is misleading, the Land-n-Sea is Not a houseboat, it is an Open Water Cruiser capable of 6 to 8 foot seas. No houseboat is capable of that. Nowhere in any of the factory information or advertising is there any reference to the Land-n-Sea bing a houseboat. You need to do a little more research before just throwing a title on a boat. Next you'll list a 20' Boston Whaler as a passage vessel.
have you sold your boat,Tom

My daughter just emailed your Land-N-Sea info to me and I am writing because we had a 1973 with the flying bridge boat #187 that we loved and had many happy hours with....However, this summer the fires in Washington State took our "Day Dream" boat (our name being Day) and home and many, many other items we had stored in our Off the Grid survival retreat. Seeing yours brings back many warm memories. Luckily we were in California when we lost it all and did not lose us...nor did we have to see and experience the loss in person. Seems we paid $13,500 +- in 1973 to get it "loaded"....We had an air conditioner on the upper deck, and a bench seat on the back deck that housed the generator. There were 4 seats on top deck that folded down for extra sleeping quarters or allowing passengers on top deck. Also, I am wondering where is all the upholstered seating/bedding??? Our curtains shredded, but we had replaced them. I do not remember the motor size/output, but we moored it for awhile at Mission Bay Marina while they were building the rest of the docks here in San Diego and what a neat experience. We also trailered it all over and were known as "The Boat People" at R-Ranch (kind of an RV dude ranch almost on the border of CA and OR)! (We lived in Washington State and had close relatives in California-Lots of back and forth). I would love to hear of your experiences with your boat, too. We have the same kind of boat ownership history! You have the email---I wonder if you sold it yet and for how much....Just curious, as ours is gone according to the neighbors.
Just stumbled on your reply to this boat for sale. I have a Land-n-Sea and would like to talk.

Thanks.
WTF??? No replies since listing. WTF???
If you're not a scamming, scumbag; email me a specification sheet about the boat and trailer. Your listed phone number is a known scamming phone number.
Hi Connie, I just happened upon this add and noticed you had posted it recently, My father was Vice president of the the Land N Sea company back in the early 70's and I sold my own Land n Sea about 10 years ago, I can give you any information you would like to know about these type of boats, there was only 251 ever made and every one was a custom build, I had the most custom one ever made with the thickest hull. Sadly most of the ones I have seen lately are in sad disarray, they were made in two piece and molded together with a liquid foam fill in the middle which over the years deteriorates, they were a outstanding boat of it's day and virtually unsinkable. let me know if you would like to know more about them.
Hi! I just bought a 1975 L & S houseboat. I would love to be able to get any specs and info you have on them. I also need the steps to get in and haven't a clue where to look for them. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Greg

Interested to know more, I have a 1972 I'm trying to restore
Hi Bret,
How cool to find this post. So your father was the VP of Land n Seacraft , very cool. I own a 1972 Land N Sea that I have restored. I love my Land N Sea. It has twin Chrysler 340s , flybridge, great boat. I have restored all of the mechanical , electrical and interior. Keeping it as original as possible. As I get time and money I am now starting on the outside. It all needs sanded down, filled and painted......all with good time. I have been using it for the last 3 years up on mountain lakes in Idaho.
Do you have any color marketing brochures or just any color photos of when these boats were new? I will be repainting with the same 1972 colors to her original.
Thanks for your time.
Cliff

I would like more information from Bret also. I have owned a 1972 Land n Sea for 5 years now. I have not fixed it up as I have only docked it in Pueblo Reservoir in Coloado as a 'camper' while I played on the ski boat, but I am ready to start fixing her up. I absolutely LOVE my Land n Sea. It is such an original look and not many made. If I could locate a brochure somewhere that would be great or another Land n Sea someone is parting out by chance. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's a scam
I have the cash if still available.
I have two, one with flying bridge and twin drives, and one with no upper bridge and a single drive. My freinds in Utah have one , and brother has one in NM. Unbelievable capable boats, not houseboats, open water cruisers.
I'm from Bay Area. Currently in Covid lock down in Portland. Am looking for Land N Sea to buy. Can travel to pick up. Rog. ***
