The N.A.D.A blue book on this boat is $25,500 with the trailer. Here is your chance to get a great boat, with an awesome floor plan for $3500 off. Its like getting the brand new trailer for FREE.
The trailer is a brand new Karavan with hydraulic disk brakes on both axles, led lighting and fold away tongue. The fuel injected 5.0 V8 has low hours and runs great. It pushes the boat upwards of 50mph with 10 people on board. Max capacity is 14. Has a changing room too. The boat measures just over 24'. Sony stereo w/remote, 2 new interstate batteries, snap out carpet. Ready to go for the season.
Here is what the factory has to say about the boat:
Harris Kayot says they built this boat to handle big water as well as river and lake waters with agility and control. It can get into many places the bowriders couldnt get to and can carry more guests comfortably than most bowriders within its length. This boat has the room, comforts and amenities to insure a long, fun day on the water. It is just as easy to board from either end with the stainless steel ladder's concealed behind a floor cover in the walk-thrus. Courtesy lights throughout make moving around after sundown safer and you can turn the forward area into a large sunpad with filler cushions. The carpet is optional, but does remove easily for cleaning and the floor is non-skid protected. Keeping cool beverages in the hands of everyone will be easier on the S225 since they have a large cooler on board. All the seating is comfortable.
The helm seating is a high back bucket seat that swivels and has a bolster for better site when doing hole shots with a skier behind. On the companion side, you have another high back bucket seat, with bolster. The large front bench seats are plush and have a lounger style backrest in front of the helm and companion pod.
You can board from the bow or from the starboard area just ahead of the helm. The walk-thru windshield has a lower door. Between the companion and helm seats was another storage area that could hold the PFDs or ski's. You can put a small table in place up front or by the stern bench seating. Engine access is large with a lift up hatch. A small stuff locker is in the floor of the stern walk-thru which leads to the swim platform and stern swim ladder.
Harris Kayot has been making boats for 52 years and has been making deck boats for 33 years, so the corporate culture there knows a thing or two about the type. In fact, the deckboat was born in Northern Indiana by another builder down the road in the early 1970s and by 1977 Kayot was the #2 seller of deckboats. By the late 1980s virtually every builder of sport boats had at least one deckboat model in their line. In 1998 they introduced a deck boat with a deep-V bottom which mean that it could be run faster in bigger water.
