Jersey Dawn

I have a 1979 Jersey Dawn project for auction. This boat did sink at the dock, went down in a few feet of water was not completely submerged. All the electronics on the bridge never touched water. Jersey Dawns are completely fiberglass, there is no wooden core to rot or get soft so this boat is very sound. It was a bolt that rotted and has since been repaired. It went down end of summer 2016 and was floating on the water all summer 2017 with no issues. All I've done is cleaned it out and the Detroit 6-71 turbo diesels have been full of WD-40 since it came back up. I assume the motors are both seized and have not tried turning them over, I was going to have them re sleeved and rebuilt. The Garrett Turbos are seized which is a shame because they were replaced in 2015 but can be replaced. I had the boat pulled out of the water last September and removed the hardtop. The boat is being launched on May 19 and the hardtop will be installed on the same day. I can have the boat towed to a nearby marina where they can pull it and put it on a truck at winning bidders expense. Previous owner went through the whole boat about 4 years ago and added electronics including autopilot, all the electronics in the bridge including computer where not touched by water and were taken out and stored inside. They come with the boat and there is a list of model numbers below. The wiring at the breaker panel all looks good and there is a picture of it, wiring in the bilge for the motors will have to be redone. The full canvas enclosure that you see in the pictures is inside the boat, also in very good condition. Buyer is responsible for transporting this boat. The boat is in East Providence.
