Well I hate to say this but getting up in age I no longer have the energy to finish all the projects at my Hydro Shop. I bought this 1981 Verga Jersey Speed Skiff years ago and never got around to getting it rigged. This is one in a dozen skiffs that Frank Verga built off his mold. From what I can remember I believe this was his last. As you can see from the pictures, It was never rigged. The shaft Strut and the rudder bracket were mounted. The hull was laided up in brown Gel Coat and the outside painted white. Both the outside and inside need a fresh coat of paint. The trailer in the pictures don't go with the boat . I will put it back on the tandem axle Skiff trailer it came on. I towed it from NJ to Upstate NY on that trailer but it's nothing special. I do have a JSS Rack & Pinion Steering setup that goes with the boat. No other hardware comes with the boat. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have before bidding.If your looking for an older Skiff with great lines This Skiff is for you. Fun to see a Verga hull. Many years ago I got to ride with Frank Verga in his JS 22 named Franita. Not sure, but I think that hull was built at Forsberg's Boat yard in Point Pleasant, NJ. Back in those days most of the boats were wooden hulls. I think Forsberg's still has the form to build fiberglass hulls from Frankie's original design. Good memories.
