Up for bid is an immaculate 31' IMP Eleganza sport motor boat with rebuilt twin Mercruiser 454 cu. in. 425 h.p. engines, with 378 hours on port and 393 hours on starboard. Model year: 1989. This updated and reconditioned boat was repainted in 2011 at a cost exceeding $9,500. Longitudinal stringers and forward engine room bulkheads and engine mounts professionally replaced. Cockpit seats redone, below deck redone, no expense spared. Gaffrig gauges, Garmin 168 chart plotter, GPS, sounder, 125 v shore power, two batteries, trim tabs andindicators, Kenwood stereo, Norcold refrigerator, cockpit cover, anchor, safety equipment, dock lines etc. [Too much to list] Includes three-axle painted trailer in excellent condition. One of the best riding boats made, especially in rough water. Needs nothing, in water, ready to go.

I had an Eleganza 255 back in the late 80's and am looking at getting back into boating. I am aware of the excellent ride characteristics of this Boat. I am also restricting my search to boats that are trailer-able but can manage the Great Lakes.

Have there been any Marine Survey's of the boat? I am 12.5 hours away in Sterling Heights Mi and don't want to make the drive to see the boat if there are any major issues.
