2006 hurricane by godfrey deck boat equipped with a 225 yamaha four stroke outboard. this is one of the most sought after deck boats. as you can see in the pictures it has been damaged in a storm. hull is in good shape with chips & scratches but is solid. i have a person that quoted me $900 to make it perfect. boat does not come with trailer. engine turns over with good compression. this is a 2006 yamaha engine that would be $23000 new. it needs a cover & a few plastic parts. has low hours according to previous owner. it is a project but has alot of good points. it has live well, huge storage area down below for fishing rods, etc. a compartment that can be used for dry storage or a porta potty for the ladies, sink with fresh water pump, it has bilge pumps. tilt steering , seastar hydraulic steering, seating all around with removable pedestal seats. front cushions are missing & captains chair needs recovered. there is storage under all other seats. boat comes with anchor, ropes, has snap in carpet, bumpers, etc. this boat was used mainly in fresh water. it came from south carolina, . the boat is located at my home in port charlotte florida 33952. if you have questions ask before bidding. i want you to know everything there is about boat. i am straight forward & as honest as i can be. the boat is sold as is where is. if you bid be sure & have the funds. i can store for as long as you need as long as it,s paid for. if you need it transported it is your responsibility but i will be glad to assist loading & coordinating pickup.if you would like to come inspect before you bid or send somebody i welcome that. i will answer these simple questions as some might ask. no it does not run as is. it needs batteries, & probably a few odds & ends. i don,t have a trailer it is on a borrowed trailer & is not for sale. the boat is a gs 232 hurricane. i would google it to see specs & features. it weighs about 3500 lbs. a good tandem trailer will haul it fine. please call if you have questions. i alway,s answer my phone & if i don,t i alway,s call back. eight59 609 four000 i am not a dealer. i bought this to use but don,t have room here in florida. my carport is not big enough. i have a small boat & it will have to do. this boat has a upgraded engine package. most 23' hurricanes have at the biggest a 200 hp. this one was ordered new with a 225 it will run 56 mph according to hurricane. it doesn,t have the bimini. it was damaged & i didn,t keep. this boat has a clean clear title on boat & engine. the oil is like new. i am confident with a little tlc the engine will run fine. it has real good compression. i took plug out & turned it over with ratchet & it turned free, put plugs back in & turned over & it had alot of compression hour gauge is not lit up. it had a bad place i had fixed on port side & it turned out perfect, the fellow that fixed it is a professional & did a great job. he is the one that quoted me $900 to make it like new as far as fiberglass. i am selling to the highest bidder. no reserve. call if you have questions eight59 609 four000 i don,t text so call or message me. this will be a nice boat for somebody.the boat was $47,000 new. be blessed if you make deposit through paypal i will only take up to $500 paypal, since paypal charges me a fee, full payment within 7 day,s or at pickup whichever is first. if you need time to pickup that isn,t a problem but it has to be paid for within a week. prefer you come & pay in person & if you need time to pick up after it's paid for that is ok
