1998 Godfrey Hurricane 248 Fun Deck with a Yamaha 200hp 2-stroke Saltwater Series outboard (hydraulic steering) Stainless prop on a 2016 Aluminum Trailer - We thought we wanted a boat and looked long and hard before deciding on this one due to both it's condition and layout. As it turns out, however, we just don't use the boat (we have jet skis too and find ourselves using them FAR more often). The boat was in great shape when we purchased it and is in even better shape now. I buffed it, replaced the stereo (Kenwood with bluetooth, usb, etc), most of the gauges (has a GPS speedo), switches, circuit breakers and any wiring that seemed questionable with marine rated wire. I replaced the courtesy lights with LED's, put new batteries in it (has 2), new bilge pump, changed the fuel pumps, water pump, etc. As far as I know, everything works. This is a great family boat because of the space, the boarding ladders in front and back, the platform up front, the small cuddy for port-a-let (included),fresh water sink/shower etc. Boat has been garage kept during the time that we have had it, and that's the problem - it's just sitting there not getting used and taking up space when somebody else could be enjoying it!I think the fuel tank is approximately 66 gallons. The trailer it was on when we bought it was kinda sketchy and a little small for it so we had an aluminum one made for it by Charleston Trailer. The trailer has stainless u-bolts, aluminum primary bunks, galvanized wheels/disc brakes on both axles, etc, so it should last a long time, even in salt water. The trailer only has one trip to the Key's and a couple local launches on it - the wheels even still have the stickers on them. Trailer has spare tire on a spindle mount (so you have an extra spindle if something should happen on a road trip) that is not shown in pictures. The boat really should not NEED anything. Interior is not perfect, but not something that NEEDS to be done either. Boat is very dependable. I went through EVERYTHING I could to make it as reliable and functional as it could be because my family's safety and enjoyment depended on it.The lower part of the skeg did get broken off when I found the edge of a sand bar or oyster bed in the Key's (oops!), but hasn't been an issue.Boat will come with an electronic LED floating/flashing SOS beacon (if you want it), some various spare parts, a plastic prop wrench that's never been used, etc. I even bought a plug in solar panel for it that's never been used. I installed a mount for an iPad on the dash that is handy and can be accessed by the driver or a passenger (iPad not included!). There is a Lowrance depth/fish finder that is included. Has a 17 gallon (I think) water tank that supplies a small sink in the middle of the boat and small shower at the back. I bought one of those overpriced dock grabbing loop on an extendable pole things, various bumpers, ropes and clips/etc that are included. Has bimini top and seems like there is a thing that snaps on to make it more of a cabin area, but we never used it. Has one of those pole anchors that sticks straight down (through a bracket on the boat) into the sand (or whatever) in shallow water. All kinds of stuff.....we planned on keeping this boat forever, but we also planned on using it and that just isn't happening! You should not need anything or to do anything to be able to start enjoying the boat the minute you take it home!
