*Engine has an intermittent hesitation and does not seem to reach full throttle rpm (it only seems to hit a max. of ~5,000 rpm). The motor has always started well, but the hesitation or "hick-up" while running has always been an issue since we bought the boat in Sept. 2014. The previous owner had taken the boat to a marina and they "could not find any issues with the motor". Clearly there is a problem that needs to be addressed so please consider the motor FOR REPAIR.* The top of the cover has numerous scratches (see picture). I believe that the motor is a 2000 model year based on the model number (E175FPXSSR), but I am not certain. I can start the motor using a hose attachment during inspection.
Tilt and trim work properly.
Boat is very dirty and is in need of avery thorough cleaning and the HULL IS VERY STAINED. Some type of anti-microbial teal colored paint was applied to the bottom portion of the hull at some point anda lotof the paint is gone. It does seem to come off with a lot of scrubbing and hull cleaner, but it is very difficult to remove.
Vinyl seats are inVERY POOR CONDITIONand have a lot of mildew and numerous tears. Theback sidesof the seats (not seen when the seats are in place)have duct tape on them. This was there when we purchased the boat and I do not know what the purpose is.
The top side shell has numerous small stress cracks.
The boat lists slightly to portside and the previous owner said that he was told that it was because of the two batteries. I doubt that this is the case, but I am not sure why it has the list.
The faucet does not work.
The hull appears to be intact and I do not see any repairs. I do not see any cracks around or on the transom. There is one area of deep gel coat wearon the port side from another poorly-tied pontoon boat rubbing on it overnight (see picture). The entire hull (sides, etc.) has numerous rub marks, scratches, etc..
The 4 trailer tires are ~3 years old and only have ~2 miles on them. The boat was stored ~1/3 mile from the boat launch that we put the boat in/out twice a year. The spare is in very good condition visibly, but it is an older tire.
All of the trailer lights work, however, one of the taillight lenses covers is cracked/damaged (see picture). The side guide on the portside is missing the carpet.
Both batteries are from 2013. The previous owner had a master power shut off switch installed near the batteries. He said that the batteries would drain and that the cause may have been (or still is) the radio. We have always tried to use the shut off switch when not usingthe boat and have had no issues. We have forgotten to turn the switch to the "off" position a few times and had no issues with the batteries either.
The canvas top has some holes and small tears.
The snap on canvas top has stains, tears and wear. Several of the snaps are missing either from the cover or from the boat hull itself.
The horn does not work, the mph gauge does not work, and the front portside spotlight does not work. The starboard bow navigation light lenses is cracked. Some of the gauges fog overnight or in humid conditions.
All of the navigation lights work.
The hour gauge reads 413 hours.
There is a new prop, but it needs a different thrust washer to fit onto the shaft properly.
The table is missing one drink holder.
There may be other small issues that I have not thought about as well. Please consider this a"project" boat that needs a lot of TLC, but that does float and (somewhat) runs.
