18ft Hurricane SD 185 Mercruiser I/O W/ Karavan Trailer

18ft Hurricane SD 185 Mercruiser I/O w/ Karavan Trailer.Purchased this boat Feburary 2021 with the intent of fixing it up and having a blast on the water but with my job requiring so many extra hours I just dont have the time to make it happen anymore. When I bought the boat it would not start so I took the starter to Autozone and found it was broken so I ordered a new one and installed it but am still not getting any action from the starter. I tested the power going to the starter and it has power but when I turn the key nothing happens. It does not make any sound at all, no clicking, no humming, nothing. I am not sure if it is something to do with the wiring or the key assembly or what and I am no mechanic or electrician. The bilge pump turns on, radio turns on and plays music, running lights work, horn works, trim works, depth finder turns on, everything on the consul works but when i turn the key nothing. The seats are in decent shape with some spots coming apart at the seams but you could put some flex tape on it to get by. The deck is in good shape with no soft spots. Cover is in fair shape and keeps water out. I had borrowed a batter from my car so it will need a battery, Looks like some wiring to some of the speakers could need some work and the speakers under the back bench will need to be put in. The boat was winterized last year. Does not appear to have any cracks in the hull but does have a few scrapes. With no time to take it in, use it, or figure out what is going on my loss is your gain. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will try and get back to them ASAP!The trailer is in great shape with new tires and new bearings. It does have some surface rust on the top of the drivers side but is very minor. I purchased the boat in Wisconsin and it was driven to my home near Lansing Michigan with no problems and rode smoothly done the highway. I did strap the outboard so that it would not rattle or put any stress on it. Lights work as they should. The trailer is 20ft long.Current registration and boat certificate of Title is for the state of Wisconsin since I figured I would register it after I got it running. The trailer will include a bill of sale.
