Description
Stock #076215 -This Gorgeous Hunter must go. Bring all offers! Great for cruising or liveaboard! The Hunter Boat Works built quality wood boats in Suisun City through the early 1970s, when the owner closed the company due to poor health. The company was started in Alameda in the late 1880s, but moved to Suisun City in the 1930s. During World War II, the company was part of the war effort, making life rafts and small military vessels.Hunter built quality into their boats and this is no exception. This Hunter was restored before the current owner bought her in 2005. He purchased it to be a condo in the water and it hasn't really moved from it's current slip for the past 10 years. As a condo on the water she has all the amenities of home. The Aft stateroom has twin double beds and nice cabinetry. The salon has a Futon Sofa that doubles as a queensize bed, and the forward berth was converted from having twin bunks to being a storage room and pantry. She has a working head, but no shower. The full galley consists of a 3 burner stove, oven, fridge, microwave and sink. And a flat screen tv is mounted for the entire salon to enjoy. For the warm days on the delta, the owners use a portable A/C unit to cool the boat down. The engines are reported to be 350 CID Corvette engines that put out 300hp. We are working on verifying the engines installed. The owner had her surveyed back in 2005, but does not currently have a copy of the survey. She's built with a Mahogany hull, oak railings and a teak deck. Please submit any and ALL offers - your offer may be accepted! Questions
Still available? If so, asking price?
I am curious because I sold a Hunter Sedan Cruiser in Oakley back in '93 or so. It had twin Chrysler 318's. That was standard from Hunter in these style cruisers in the 60's. I live in Florida now and I will not be back for a year or so but I might be able to make accommodations possible with a dear friend in Discovery Bay that does not use his dock.
Thanks!
Matt
