This is a legendary Hatteras 41 Motor yacht, double cabin, built in 1967 at the Hatteras Factory in High Point, NC. This factory was when Willis Slane owned Hatteras and employed master furniture makers to build his yachts. The hull is solid "crystal resin"(bulletproof) and the interior is solid teak. This boat is in very good condition as the pictures indicate. She has been constantly upgraded throughout her life. Most of her life has been spent on the North Carolina coast. This is truly a rare find ! Book value and insured value on the boat is $50,000. The boat is located in Carolina Beach, NC. THIS BOAT IS AN EXCELLENT LIVEABOARD!She is powered by twin Detroit Diesel 653 Naturals, well maintained and have 2866 hours, barely broken in. No smoke. The generator is the newer Kabota frame Northern Lights 7.5 KW. It powers both a/c's refrigerator, and everything else. Thank goodness, it made hurricane Florence tolerable as it ran for 5 days straight without a hickup. 453 hours total time.
