This is a 1972 Hatteras Sportfish Convertible with twin Caterpillar 3208 Turbo 320 Hp with 1:1/2 to 1 Twin Disc transmissions approx. 3000 hrs. The boat weight is 2400 lbs a keel boat, and a semi planing hull. Speed is 26 mph full, 20 mph cruise @ 2400 rpm. The genset is a Northern Lights 8 KW 1500 hrs. There are 3 Cruise air marine AC Systems. The boat has just had the top from rail up painted with Awlgrip, New windlass, all window frames have been renewed, new windows and tinting. There are No soft spots on the boat and all bulkheads are solid. This boat was designed by Hargraves and built in North Carolina. The boat was built very solid and made to last. The stringers are Foam Filled Fiberglass (No Rot), there are four tanks onboard (2) 150 gal fiberglass fuel under the rear cockpit, (1) 60 gal fiberglass water center midship, and (1) 30 gal fiberglass rear midship "never used". the length is 36' 1" ( with bow pulpit and custom aluminum dive platform with incorporated exhaust 41ft), beam 12' 10" and height is 12'11: to top of flybridge. Interior headroom is 6'4". It comes with original manuals and schematics. The Head is a Lexsan system and the freshwater system has been just renewed. The engines have Ceramic coated oil pans, new raw water pumps and new 100 amp alternators and batteries. The wiring is all in good shape with a full floating DC charging system. There is a Bose stereo with multi option head unit. Headliners and interior is in great shape "No Rips or Stains", flooring is vinyl with removable top rugs. In the salon the factory settee pulls out to a queen sleeper, and the dinning table drops down for extra sleep space, also the dinette bottoms are storage compartments with a leaning seat for driver with room for a mate. The down stairs helm is fully operating with genset gauges and AC/DC service panel. Air Conditioning service panel is in bathroom closet. The boat comes with many extras, Including: extra set of propellers, extra starter, ship to shore cables, bumpers and ropes, 3 anchors and extra lines, fitlers, tool, misc parts, and a 110V fresh air dive system with 50ft hose and regulator. Plus much more...To be finished: If you are handy for less than $5k you could finish the boat to complete. What I feel it needs to be done to be complete: Fresh bottom job, new paint from the side rail to waterline, genset service (fuel issue, has new raw water pump), air conditioning service ( flushed and checked), engines ran with fuel additive (sticky or dirty injectors a little white smoke, "Engines are solid"), Engine compartment freshening up starboard side ( port side has been done. "Cosmetic Paint"), Lexsan waste system control board. (works on bypass, "head works good") Kitchen is 70% finished. The boat had a half tower that has been removed to create an upstairs flybridge sun and fun area with a drop down table to create a queen size sleep or sun bed, and rear settee and a 1/4 tower with retractable bimini top. The 1/4 tower is partially complete (needs finish welding and paint) The ladder to the bridge is complete (Not Installed)To somerize: this is the Biggest of the Small Boats and the Smallest of the Yachts. This boat can be operated single handed and has wide walkways on both sides. With 22" props this boat will spin on a dime and docking is an ease. The upstairs helm was removed because we are in a day and age of remote operations with joy stick (the way I was Heading). The boat navigates great with the Simrad Autopilot, but the map plotter- bottom machine has a black screen (needs replacing).I would comfortably head out at any time or take a long trip with just a little pre preparation. I have had this boat since 1997 and restored it in 2000 to include a complete bottom re- gelcoating. It didn't need it, there were only a few small blister repairs, I knew I would keep this boat forever and the re-gel was an extra guarantee. My starting price is less than half of what this boat is worth, but I don't have the time or money to finish it, and I would like to know she finds someone who can, and will enjoy her the way I have. Please be nice, I don't have to get rid of her ! :)
