Hatteras 34 Double Cabin

This 1964 34 Hatteras double cabin is from an era when style, class and function where key. Hulls were built for quality and longevity not mass production. All stringers are pure fiberglass (no wood). This boat is a blast from the past, great to rekindle memories from your past or make new memories with your family and friends or use as live a board. No re-fit or renovations have been done. This boat is all original and retains all the classic styling. The quality Hatteras construction and design is still in place. She is powered by twin fresh water cooled Chrysler 440 Inboards. The starter motors are missing on both engines so we where unable to test the engines, but they are complete. This model Hatteras originally come with Chrysler 426cu engines. The original engines where replace in 1976 with the current 440 cu. The heat exchangers have antifreeze in them so I dont think there is any freeze damage. There is a generator on board. Its complete but we have not tried to start it. The factory a/c does work, but will need a new power switch.This 34 Hatteras will need some cosmetic and engine work. Some of the windows where removed so some rotted wood could be replaced. The windows are on board and are ready to be reinstalled.One of the front windows will need to be replaced.Personally I would spend this spring getting the engines running, put the windows back in, clean up the interior, get the bottom cleaned and painted and run the boat this summer. And do a restoration project next winter. But thats me.The boat is currently at a private marina and is not viewable.
