Glastron Sx-175

We are a new boat dealer and sell one of our trade in boats on classifieds board with no reserve every week. If this boat is not exactly what you are looking for save us as a favorite seller. More boats are sure to come.

This boat is Glastron sx-175 Runabout. She is powered by a Evinrude 150 Intruder. The motor runs great and shifts smoothly. The previous owner pulled the Glastron decals and replaced them with Graham and Misbehavin. It is in fact a Glastron as decoded from the VIN. $300 and a local vinyl sign shop and she could look like a Glastron again.

Most of the upholstery is in good shape but it has slight sun fade. The boat shows well and is being detailed during this auction. This is a great all around boat that that has solid floors and transom. It is a very rare outboard boat. Most were I/O. It has no structural issues whatsoever. I would call her condition and overall appearance good for her age.

I ALWAYS call what is wrong with my stuff that I sell on classifieds board. Do not believe for a second that there are any 2003 model boats that are perfect. They were not perfect when they were brand new. Yet sellers and dealers do not disclose any problems until you are the high bidder and you go to pick up the boat. I call it like it is and show pictures of any issues. There are no secrets with my listing. Here is what I find questionable about this boat.

The rub rail has normal chips and nicks from doing its job as a rub rail.

There are some small chips in the front of the boat from loading it on a trailer.

There is some slight corrosion on some metal parts. Normal for the age.

There is normal scratches and wear and tear. Normal for the age.

The center plastic cover on the steering wheel is missing.

The trailer that the boat is sitting on is functional but rusty. It is not included in the auction but can be purchased by the winner of the auction for $400. I also have new trailers in stock if the winner would rather a new one. I am a licensed new and used boat dealer in Alabama. If you are a resident of Alabama I must charge you tax. If you are from out of state you will pay tax in your home state. We charge only $199 to every buyer to process sales and ownership transfer paperwork. We add this to the highest bid on every deal retail or wholesale.

Finally, this is a no reserve auction. The high bidder at auction end will be the next owner. Have your money in line. Have permission from your wife, husband, partner, mother, father, brother, sister, boss, cousin, aunt, uncle, friend, enemy etc., BEFORE YOU BID. IF YOU ARE THE HIGH BIDDER AT AUCTION END YOU ARE THE NEW OWNER FOR THE FINAL BID PRICE. (Of course if the boat is grossly misrepresented I do not expect you to buy it.) (a 100% feedback indicates I call it like it is). I sell most of my items at no reserve. Please do not email and ask what I will take for this boat. If you like it, bid on it.
