Glastron Scimitar

In its day, the Glastron Carlson Scimitar was the main attraction at boat shows and awarded 1980 Boat of The Year by Powerboat Magazine. Somewhat rare, only about 500 were made and 300 remain in the U.S., they are becoming more and more sought after. Originally designed by Art Carlson and built in California by Glastron these boats are less likely found in the northeastern U.S. and nearly impossible to find overseas making it attractive to collectors near and far. The preferred brand of the 007 movies, this boat will turn heads of Bond and boat lovers alike.

This boat measures 23ft long, 62in deep, has a load capacity of 1500 lbs and 36gal fuel capacity. Featuring removable transparent T-tops and a sleek sports-car-like design including a sheltered cock-pit feel, overhead accessory switch control with lights, original hardware, digital clock, windshield wiper, lighter and tray, drink holders, front bucket seats, power adjustable helm seat, swivel seat to port, cockpit courtesy lights, AM-FM radio with cassette tape, including custom trailer and custom cover.

The original 260 Mercruiser engine has only 273 hours; it's high-performance-designed hull snaps the boat on plane. There are multiple on-board storage compartments, including three in the hull, accessible from the cock-pit seats, an anchor compartment next to the engine, and a full compartment under the bench seat.

Gel coat finish has some spider striae/stress cracks. No hull damage. New exhaust manifolds. Inspected and winterized on 3/16/2018 (documents provided). Your own inspection is welcomed!
