Glastron GT-160

This is a project boat. A good base for a restoration effort, or a really nice candidate for hard to find parts for an existing project. The floors and stringers were rotted, and the transom will need rebuilt. The old floor in the cockpit area was removed to show condition. The stringers and transom were left to show condition.The 2 piece hull is in very good condition for it's age and is the original paint finish. Normal surface age scratches and such but very sound otherwise. The best part is all of the stainless trim is intact and has no dings. The windshield frame is in similar very good condition with no dents or dings. The windshield has a small crack on passenger side at the bottom but would serviceable until a replacement could be found.There is no interior as shown in the pictures and there is no steering gear or gas tank included. The original tachometer and speedometer however, are included. The boat sits on a nice tilt trailer, but it will need tires before a long trip as they are old and in bad shape. The tires hold air however and the ball size is 1&7/8". For the "Buy It Now" price I will install serviceable tires for traveling. Lighting does not currently work.Also included is a 1967 Mercury 950SS 95HP 6 cylinder 2-stroke outboard with power trim. The motor was removed for pictures but has since been reattached to the transom. Plates were added temporarily to both side of the transom to prevent any further damage. The motor will require work to restore. The wiring is cracked and brittle and there may be damage or parts missing that I am unaware of. It does rotate freely though. This has the potential for a really nice restoration or as a parts donor for hard to find parts needed on an existing project. Maybe a combination of both!
