4.1.2018 UPDATE: The first 1972 GT 150 boat I listed on March 1, 2018 received over 800 views and sold in 4 days! If you are looking for a same year and color James Bond "Live and Let Die" style boat, don't delay. This is our second and last 1972 GT 150 we will be offering for sale. It too is a very nice, 100% original Glastron GT 150. Included is a correct, well running, 1972 Mercury Model 800 (80 hp) with adesirableMercury Mariner tilt and trim option and a 1972 restored trailer. This boat was purchased by us from a fellow Classic Glastron Owners Association member in Texas, 2007.
VIDEO: I will be posting a video of the boat on the water, in action, as soon as the 15" of ice leaves the lake!
Condition. This boat came to us in good condition with new carpet, correct original Glastron dealer installed speedo and tachometer and nice 1972 trailer. The original 1972 Mercury 800 80 hp is in well running order and is complete with all correct decals and several Mercury documents - including the original 1972 Louisiana boat registration sticker. (We have a complete list of the previous 3 owners including the original owner who bought the boat in June of 1972 in Louisiana.)Prop was recently replaced and skeg chip repaired as was the battery replaced. Windshield is mint crystal clear and with no hint of any ammonia cloudiness damage, ever. Windshield frame is straight.
The boat's interior is all original except for the driver's seat cushion's front panel that I replaced and had done in the identical matching color.A nice addition, evening mood lights and a stereo were installed, both discretely hidden away. The hull is sound and there are no accident blemishes on the gel coats or rub rail. (From speaking with the prior owners, the boat was well taken care of. Very seldom do we see GT 150s that are in this nice of shape without having gone through extensive restoration.) The cream gel is in perfect shape. The orange gel, as is common with bright color Glastron gels, has some areas of sunlight crazing. As you can see from the pictures, the boat displays well and was an invited guest to the Minnesota Boat Show, one of the nation's largest annual boat events and also displayed at the annual Wisconsin Wheels and Wings event (see pics).
Improvements.During our 11 years of ownership there was less than 40 hrs of water operation (the boat spent more time on display). We replaced the shifter cam on the Merc controller, had a professional Fiberglas boat shop replace a rear floor section below the gas tank, added new chrome steering wheel inserts, new bow medallion and decal and installed new wheel bearings and tires on the trailer. All maintenance such as lower unit oil exchange and new spark plugs is up to date.
Shipping. We are located 60 miles NE of Minneapolis, Minnesota and near both I-94 and I-35. Delivery of the boat is possible and reasonable. Overseas container shipping can be arranged via various US ports. Glastron Replica will help you get this boat to your dock no matter where you're located!
Guarantee.Glastron Replica guarantees all our sales 100%. If you are not satisfied with this boat upon personal examination, you may cancel the purchase and owe nothing.

Note:If you have interest in this highly desirable and original, unmolested 1972 Glastron GT-150, this could well become your boat. But don't delay. 800+ folks looked at the previous boat for sale over the 4 days but only one viewer walked away with the keys.
All of the pictures shown above are owned and copyrighted by Glastron Replica. The boat comes with a clean WI registration (WI does not issue titles for boats under 16' or small trailers) and a bill of sale for both the boat and the trailer.
(Factoid: 1972 was the only year to use a cream with orange gel color scheme and the only year to use classic hounds tooth for the seat insert panels. Also, the 007 movie used all 1972 Glastrons for filming in 1972 but the movie was released in 1973.)
