Glastron CVX 17

Here is a beautiful 1986 Glastron CVX-17 with a 1986 150HP Black Max outboard sitting on a 1998 Eagle single axle trailer. I have had many upgrades done to the boat, motor and trailer in 2018/2019. Starting with the boat...interior was completely removed last summer and professionally replaced with new Aqua Turf marine carpet on the floor and all the way up the sides of the gunnels. Marine vinyl was installed on the rear bench and front bucket seats, center console, rear storage compartments and around dash from front to back. Off white Merit Pro, Stoplight Red carbon fiber and Acceleration Blue carbon fiber colors were used. Diamond stitching really adds a custom touch to the look of this interior. Floor decking was in great shape. Front passenger seat can turn around 180 degrees for viewing skiers or tubers or just hanging out at the sand bar. Center console between front seats can also be removed to give a bit more legroom if desired. Has a new aluminum steering wheel and billet steering wheel hub. RPM, MPH, Trim and Fuel gauges were professionally replaced with Auto Meter Pro Comp Marine gauges. They need a little tweaking as I believe the RPM dip switches on the back are set to a 4 cylinder motor. Installed aluminium cup holders all around. Windshield was removed and new weatherstripping and hardware was installed. Installed a new marine deep cycle Optima battery in a billet battery holder that resides behind the rear bench. Previous owner of 25 years had installed a large stainless steel outboard mounting plate on the transom for added rigidity. I had a local dealer check the transom and its solid with no noted water intrusion or rot issues. Next on the list that I have not got to yet was to replace the rub rail and give the boat a good buff/wax to really bring out the metal flake shine. There are a few nicks/spider cracks and chips here and there but for the age it looks really sharp. Outboard was gone through this summer by a Mercury dealer and has a new water pump, fuel filter, CDI trigger and fluids changed. Installed a new Apollo 3-blade 23P stainless steel propeller and hub kit. Boat is fast! Supposedly runs close to 70MPH with one person in it but I've only had it up around 50-55. Probably could have the carbs cleaned to really get it screaming. Oil injection was removed by previous owner so I've just ran premix. Trailer is a 1998 Eagle (12 years newer than boat) and here is what has been upgraded on that this last year...All three tires and wheels were replaced with new aluminum rims and trailer tires. Trailer jack and safety cables were replaced as well as a new enclosed trailer winch and strap were installed. The bunks were removed and replaced with new wood and marine carpet. The wiring harness and all lights were replaced with LEDs. I installed trailer guides with nylon covers to make loading super easy. This trailer is ready to tow! Includes a new snap on cockpit cover and outboard cover that were made specifically for the boat as well as a new Bimini top. Also includes a new full travel/storage cover. Includes bumpers, docking rope, prop lock, outboard motor/transom lock and wheel locks. Boat, motor and trailer is sold as-is with no implied warranty. I've got well over $10k into this package and have a low starting bid. For sale locally with a clear title so auction may end early.
