I have a ultra rare 1976 Glastron Carlson CV23 jet boat for sale! These boat are super rare and very hard to find anymore! If you know anything about Carlson, then you already know how Carlson was way ahead of his time when he designed these boats! These boats are timeless! They still look sleek and modern in today's age! In my opinion today's boats don't even compare to the design of Carlson! It's like driving a vintage Corvette! It just never gets old!It doesn't matter where I go with this boat! It doesn't matter if I'm towing it or out on the water, people come up to me all the time and admire this truly work of art by Carlson! It turns heads everywhere I go. I have other boaters come up to me all the time just to get a look at the boat and ask me a million questions about it! I think it's so cool how people know how rare these boats are!The boat looks great and runs very well!!! It has a Ford 460 V8 and sounds awesome with the through the hull exhaust! I love it when I'm at the dock when I'm starting it up. It turns everyone's head in a second just to see the beast come to life! So fun!The motor was pulled last spring and gone through with all new freeze plugs, oil pan, oil pump, cleaned and reinstalled. The motor just runs so great! Starts right up without any issues at all!The interior is clean and in very nice condition. There is one small tear on the front passenger seat at the top where the seams comes together. Otherwise all the seats are in great condition as well as the wood. The floor is solid with no weak stops. The transom is solid with no week spots to be found. All the fiberglass is in really nice condition with no real spider cracks. The are a couple tiny ones right around one of the boat cleats if I remember correctly? The gelcoat is original and still shows a very nice shine. One will have to keep up on the waxing to keep it looking good. On the back of the swim deck, it does show a little more wear by the teak slats to where the clear coat is just about gone. There are a few nicks on the fiberglass here and there, but nothing that is bad. Still in really nice shape for the age! The hull is solid and doesn't leak. I can have this boat out on the water all day and never takes on any water. It does have all the original gauges and they all work out side of the speedo. The front windshield is original and does have a crack on the drivers side in one of the corners. Other then what I mentioned, this is truly a very nice boat! The boat is currently in a inside storage and the motor has been winterized. The block was completely drained and refilled with the purple antifreeze. Not the pink stuff! All the hoses to the pump were drain as well. She should be good to go come spring time. I did end up replacing the battery late summer and that will go with the boat as well. The trailer is a roller trailer and the bearing have just been all replaced at the end of summer as well as replacing the tires. So all that stuff is new!A couple of the pictures you will see that really reflect the shine is in the beginning of spring time and the other ones were taken late September just before being winterized. This a rare opportunity to come across this Glastron Carlson! I really hate to let it go and I'm having a tuff time convincing myself to let her go. But my situation has changed a little and I already have another boat, so as much as I love this boat it's time to let someone else enjoy her! You will not be disappointed!!I have set the reserve price reasonable in my opinion. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get your hands on a truly amazing and very rare boat!
