This is a 'No Reserve' auction for a 70's Mercury 1150 (115 HP) Straight line 6 "tower of power" outboard motor. This auction INCLUDES the 16' Glastron boat and trailer. All 1975-76. The trailer is worth about $400.00 but I will not separate. Winning bid gets the outboard motor, boat and trailer as shown.Boat has always been in the great lakes. No salt water. This boat has been in storage the last 10 years. I have owned this boat for 20 years. (even proposed to my wife on this boat) It was winterized and set up for long storage. This boat has a seam leak on the port side. It is almost impossible to see. The last time we had it on the big lake, water seeped in and only the strong motor got us to shore. (whew!) Repairs were planned, the floor is cut and seats are gone, leaking seam is exposed, ready for repair. That's why the boat is includes at no cost.Trailer is the one that came with the boat. 1975. I think the original. 2250# gvw. Decent tires with bad spare.The Motor is the value here. Very clean! Serial Number #4569336. This ran good the last time I had it out.(We didn't sink) Top speeds of 45 mph with this boat. Electric power trim and tilt with controls. Also includes all the boat gauges and switches - nothing removed except for the battery. Two props included - in fair shape. Selling in AS IS condition. (may be fixed by the time you receive this boat) The compression in all cylinders was at 120-125 PSI. OK truth be told- I couldn't get to the #6 spark plug hole with my compression gauge. (under the cowling).The other issue with the motor is the lower 'Fin'. (See pictures) The fin has a small piece missing 1-2 inch. this has never caused a problem with the performance of this motor.
