This is a 1984 Gibson Houseboat project for parts or repair. Please read terms and conditions.
Gibsons are great boats made in the USA. This hull could be used in many ways such as a tiny house, yacht for live a board, fishing, cruising lakes, rivers, intercostal or for vacation and entertainment. This boat is in poor condition and needs to be gutted and redone. It has a lot of rain water damage. The deck particularly damaged around the door, rear window and engine cover where the rain water runs from the upper deck to the engine compartment. The hull's heavy fiberglass and appears to be sound. This vessel is located at 18490 Harbeson Rd., Milton, Delawareas pictured and is available to view prior topurchase. This large boat appears as a blend of houseboat and cabin cruiser. Its current configuration is two berths, one bathroom with shower. The kitchen/galley is open to the living room/cabin with a large deck on top with built in seating/storage. Dual controls allow you to pilot the boat from the fly bridge or the comfort of the cabin. It has been sitting on the hard for several years as a planned gut and rebuild project. The name on this custom designed boat is Got Boh by the Baltimore beer company that once owned it. Baltimore is where it was docked when I purchased it. I am the fifth owner of this boat. The boat was at one time US coast Guard Certified. It has past documentation and a clear Maryland title which will be mailed to you when the boat leaves the Delawareproperty. I have lost my storage lease and new plans necessitate a quick sale and removal. Please expect this boat will need major repair, rebuild, replacement of all systems including the generator and two inboard V8 marine raw water cooled gasoline engines. You could re-deck the hull and mount a new travel trailer. The houseboat purchase includes the commitment that the buyer will move the boat from its current Delaware location within a month after purchase. The boatyard owner plans to repurpose the property. If the boat is not removed per these terms, thebuyer looses his deposit and the boat isre-listed. The parts value on this boatshouldexceed the boat purchase and transport. The two V drives (pancake drives) have a resale value of $3,500 each. If your are buying for parts, the entireboat must be removed first. Please consider the transport and project cost beforethe purchase of this houseboat. Because it has no trailer, Ihave used professional transport companies which generally costover two thousand dollars. I can suggest transportcompanies if needed. Pease do not purchase if you do not accept the boat and seller conditions. This auction is where is, as is with no warranty. Buyer must pay for boat and re-statetheir agreementwiththe removal terms immediately after theclassifieds board purchase. The $500 dollar deposit is non-refundable. Gibson Fiberglass Houseboats are one of only a few United States boat manufactures still in business today. See https://www.gibsonboats.com If you would rather not redo the boat yourself, Gibson cansupport you there as well. It has no trailer. It is42 ft. plus a 3 ft. swim platform totaling 45 ft. It height is 11 foot, 6 inches. Its 12-foot width allows for over the road transport with permits.
