Up forauction is a brand new G-W Invader 10-3 (Ten Footer) deck and hull combination. Trailer is NOT INCLUDED. I have only installed two new G-W Invader chrome emblems on the factory marks. This a brand new red deck and white hull combination, made from the original G-W Invader molds, not a knock off copy from a current boat builder. Only the original G-W Invader molds have all the factory marks that show exactly where to mount all the original hardware as would have been done by the factory. Specifically, look at the picture of the deck, where I have circled the marks that show where the rear cleat would have been mounted as an example. There are several factory marks on the deck to show you where to install the rear cleats, step pads, front deck cleat, drains, etc. The deck is simply sitting on the hull with about 12 screws holding the two parts together. Original G-W Invaders would have been fiber-glassed together for superior strength and this is certainly something you can still do. The hull has a complete floor and a solid 1-1/2 transom with no holes at all.
I am simply selling a brand new red deck and a new white hull! There is NO hardware, carpet, steering, rub-rail, seats, drains, etc. There is NO certificate of origin or title as these were simply intended as replacement parts only! My intentions were to take all of the hardware and motor off of my old 1968 Ten Footer and install it all on this new deck and hull combination. A friend of mine has the original G-W Invader molds and for what it would have cost me to repair and repaint my 45 year old boat; he made me a brand new deck/hull combination for half the price of restoration.
The bottom line is that this is a great opportunity to own an original G-W Invader Ten footer, not a late model copy, made from modern gel cote and marine plywood. Instead of restoring your old boat that has a rotten transom, rotten floor, has been painted 10 times, has a blistered hull, etc., get a brand new one with modern materials.
PLEASE NOTE: These parts came out of very old molds and have some small imperfections! The imperfections are too small to photograph. However, they are in fantastic shape and shine like crazy but may still require some touch up here and there. The deck will need some more trimming and edge sanding before installing trim as they are straight out of the mold. I just wanted to make that perfectly clear, but these parts are a thousand times better than anything you would find for sale in a used boat.
I am selling because I have too many G-W Invader boats and need more storage space!
Deck and hull combination come with NO WARRANTY! Sold as is only! I will provide only an classifieds board bill of sale for two fiberglass parts. Auction winner will need to pay in full before picking up the boat and bring some way to transport the boat as the trailer is not part of the auction. Item is basically located in Noblesville, Indiana, 46060. (30 minutes south of Sharpsville, IN)
