Four Winns Unlimited U-17

1996 Four Winns Unlimited U-17. Excellent condition, always garaged. I purchased new from a dealership in Phoenix, AZ while the boat was still in it's factory wrap. Was my first "toy" after graduating from College. If the boat could tell stories there would be plenty - unfortunately it's time to let this one go.

Runs excellent, get's fantastic fuel mileage, the 4.3L Chevrolet engine has excellent response and depending on propeller choice a top speed of 55 mph. The Donzi designed hull handles chop ridiculously well. The seats are in excellent original condition, nice and soft no rips or tears or stains withspacious leg room up front and just right for 3 people across the back. Storage under the front, under the rear seat, and in the motor compartment. The engine purrs like a kitten, but hasa great sports car sound and feel. I have pampered this boat its entire life.

If you do not like getting attention, then probably do not want to buy this boat. When you park it at the marina etc it gets noticed. These boats are extremely rare.

I have had this boat on Lake Powell, Lake Pleasant, Lake Bartlet in Arizona, and Lake Whitney, Lake Buccanon, Lake Sommerville in Texas. NEVER in salt water. The boat has probably only seen the water 3-4 times a year on average over the past 10 years. ALWAYS garaged, and the boat will fitin a small garage as the tongue is removable.

The only defects I am aware of are a small scratch on the right side stripe decal from where my ATV rubbed against the boat while being stored in my garage, and where the bimini top rests that has taken some of the luster from the paint and could be waxed if you want the shine to match the rest of the boat (but that stays covered by the top when it is in its retracted position). The right side tire blew out last year (still upset on that one) and it did damage the right side fender. No damage to boat. The windshield is a nice touch to the boat, I have always boated year round so when it's cold out the wind goes up over your head.

Mechanically speaking the tires and rims are brand new, 1 month old. Spark plugs and oil just changed. I change out the impellor every 2 years (I'm an engineer) so probably wouldn't hurt to go ahead and do that. This is a get in and go boat, no surprises.
