Boat:

1989 Four Winns 205 Sundowner.

This boat is in overall good shape. We are selling it for only one reason, we are purchasing a larger boat as we like to stay overnight on them. This boat is turnkey water ready. The boat is powered by a well maintained 5.0 HO V-8 engine with OMC cobra out drive. Shift cable was adjusted last year when the out drive was removed to install new bellows. Boat will probably start quicker than your new car. We are not in a hurry boaters so full throttle operation was not common for us but the boat will do 45-50 mph with only a few people in the boat. Or if you want to pull people behind the boat it has plenty of power for that as well. The outside hull of the boat is in overall good shape with the paint/gel coat looking very good as you can see by some of the photos with the reflection off the ground. The boat was waxed at least twice a year. There are a few spots on the cuddys white roof that arent as shiny as new but its white so you cant really tell. Last year new bellows were installed along with a new raw water impeller and new belts. Mechanically everything else is good to go. Drive oil is clean no metal debris or water, engine oil is clean and doesnt use any, and power steering fluid is full and good to go. If there is a flaw it is the trim system. Works great but slowly settles after a few days. Totally not an operational while running problem just makes you use the blue trim locks while trailering (provided). You should use these on any boat but most people dont.

Inside the boat the vinyl is in overall good shape. There are a few small tears on the rear seats and on the drivers seat. The rear top vinyl was replaced this winter so it is brand new. Carpet is clean with only a few small stains. In the Cabin of the boat you will find 2 new LED lights for plenty of light a new round hatch that was replaced last year ($700) and all the seats have new fabric covering. There is also a 2.5 gallon porta-potty in the cabin that you can use for overnight stays or any other necessary times. The Cuddy cabin is a great feature for families with kids or if you yourself want out of the sun it is an easy way to take a break or a short nap for an hour or two so you dont fry yourself enjoying the water.

The boat also has a Bimini top that has the connecting vinyl to make a full camper enclosure for overnight stays or if you dont feel like putting the boat cover on. All of this material looks brand new and has hardly ever been used.

A Full boat cover that is trailer-able will also be included (weve never used it to trailer but it says you can) the boat is always stored out of the water in our car port with the cover on also.

This winter on top of putting new vinyl in spots and redoing the cabins fabric seats brand new gauges were also installed along with a depth gauge that reads up to 200 foot deep and also reads water temperature and air temperature. Two very nice added features I didnt think Id use much but use every time we take the boat out.

The boat comes with a CD player radio with USB port and Aux cord input. All works, has 4 speakers which you can easily hear while cruising. The boat also has a custom LED light system for night to see in the boat better as you can see from the photo. There are 2 LED light strips under the rails to light the floor and each cup holder has an LED so you can easily see your drinks. The 2 6x9 speakers also light up blue for a nice added touch.

We currently tow this boat with our Tahoe and it tows like a dream. We towed it last year with our 07 Liberty and it did an equally great job.

We have put many miles on this trailer even this year with 2 trips to Lake Cumberland in Kentucky, 400 miles each way, both with no problems at all going 65-70 mph down the highway.
