FOUR WINNS H210 FOR SALE IN TEXAS
Four Winns has always had a reputation for innovative design. When Rec Boat Holdings took over ownership a couple of years ago, there was plenty of incentive to carry on that tradition. Launched for the 2012 model year, the Four Winns Horizon 210 was the first new design in its bowrider series. It set the parameters for a distinctive new appearance and layout that would extend through the runabout lineup. The new design keeps the company's successful Stable-Vee hull, but adds high topsides and sheerline into the mix, along with a shorter deck and a distinctive, abruptly down-swept break in the sheer aft.A new windshield (exclusive to Four Winns) has a high side panel that mimics the shape of the down-swept sheerline, repeating that design signature. In the cockpit, the dash has a neo Art Deco style gauge array. The high topsides, narrow side decks and full use of the beam ensure plenty of interior space. There's a deep, spacious bow compartment with two adult-size lounges and a roomy main cockpit with a comfortable helm seat and an L-shaped bench to port and aft. The fully adjustable, bolstered helm seat is not only comfortable, but also provides great visibility of gauges and the water.True to Four Winns tradition, there's innovative seating and storage, from the forward anchor and rode locker to the aft wet locker under the walkway to starboard. In the bow compartment, seat bottoms and backs are hinged to create L-shaped storage access to starboard (ideal for wakeboards and water toys). In the main cockpit, the companion seat back is identical in appearance to the helm seat, except it flips forward to create an aft-facing lounge seat (or watersports observer seat). This flows into the L-shaped bench that runs aft and across the stern. There's more storage under the bench to port and aft, with a portable cooler amidships. The sun pad hides a walkway to starboard and also flips up to form a sun lounge. Fabric organizer bags create usable storage space alongside the engine. Then there's a huge, wakeboard-size storage locker in the main cockpit floor.Top speed, with a light test load, is 54.5 mph. The boat cruises easily at 25.5 mph at 3000 rpm with relaxed mid-range speeds of 33 mph at 3500 and 41.3 at 4000 rpm. Response is always spirited and sound levels subdued at cruising speeds. The Stable-Vee pods and sponsons contribute to quick planing and performance, but also help tracking and stability in corners. As well as the boat performs at speed, it also comes through at rest, with the non-skid extended swim platform just above the level of the water's surface. It's ideal for watersports prep and also has an extra-deep ladder for easy boarding.
