The previous owner as well as the boatyard we picked the boat up from stated that this was a good running boat at the end of last season. The marina winterized the boat and we picked it up to sell for the owner. It was winterized and stored until now. Wetried to start the engine today and it cranked for a few seconds and then the starter motor stopped spinning as if the power was shut off. The dash lights, accessoriesand key switch stopped working as if it blew a fuse or possibly a wirelost its connection. We did not have much time to spend with it and spent only five minutes or so on it before moving onto our next project . We couldn't find the fuse and the batteries are dead.We did confirm that the engine spins free with no problems and the engine oil is very clean. The power trim /tilt still works well and overall the engine looks very clean. The steering and shifting seem to work smoothly as well. The trim tabs, running lights, bilge blower, horn and someinterior lights powered up. There is an onboard battery charger, new looking Origo stove, and refrigerator but we did not power the 120VAC shore-power side to test anything. There is a Am/FM radio in the box below as well. The hour meter reads only 283 hours (see pictures) which is extremely low. If you are handy I'm sure you can get the boat into top shape quickly and have a great overnighter ready for next spring.
Cosmetically the boat looks good but would benefit well from a detailing and buff/ wax job. There are age appropriatescratches and dings throughout. The cockpit decks are rocksolid. The seats and cockpit cushions look to have ben recently re-upholstered and look great. The rear coaming bolsters will need removal or replacement. The canvasmooring coveris functional. Down below the cabin is huge for a 24 footer. The cabin is fairly clean but has some evidence of stains from water leaks mostly in the aft cabin. Some of the interiorlights work and the head has a marine toilet. With some cleaning and fixing up this boat would make a great overnighter for a family of four or so. Please view all the pictures below this ad to judge the condition yourself.
