Due to a recent incident the boat is not in running condition . The only element broken is the end lower unit which is damaged by running without oil recently. The boat itself, The Trailer, The motor, The upper end unit are all in good condition and until just recently " as seen in the pictures as a matter of fact " were used with great admiration from the dock neighbors. Which was the time the unfortunate event of running without the gear oil happened. .. Reason for selling : I was selling the boat rather sadly after it became clear my arthritis wouldn't let me safely get in and out of her. The selling prices was going to be $6,500.00. Now recently when it was used to please some youth or youthful in the lake community, it was discovered the " Sparrow" was run without the replaced grease in to the end lower unit " The lowest end of the three compartments of the driving system - seen on the photo with the propeller on" caused not properly functioning . Thus the low selling price

Speed boat of nice looks and grace. This boat served me wonderfully for 2 years starting up every time with no exception, needing no maintenance no repairs unlike any other boat I ever owned. When my knees would not safely allow me to board and exit I had no choice but rely on pontoon boats and my house boat . I will always miss this one ... Unfortunately the boat was recently driven for a kids party while its lower end unit was not refitted with gear grease following the winterization. This cause an occasional $1200.00 and the new ones depending on Chinese refit or US reconditioned cost between $ 1,600.00 and $3,500.00. Since I would not be able to sail with it myself I decided to sell it as isCondition : I had three mechanics look at the boat.. It is currently at my local mechanics shop. I am reported that : only the lower end lower unit is in junked state... The Boat- itself is in good looking state. The upholstery is sun and weather worn but is useable without repair for long years. There are no dings or damages to the boat itself .. The Trailer- is in perfect state. I had only repair on one bear- ring and tires replaced. The other bear -rings are packed . Legal Papers: Both the boat and the Trailer has their stampsEngine : It has been tested several times after the lower end lower unit is removed and is reported to be in very good state with no problemsThe middle lower unit : This is not possible to test independently but with the motor running and turning it gave no indication of any problems . Assumed to be in good condition. Leaving me to think all the buyer needs to do, if not using it for parts is to obtain the lower and lower unit to get the boat into its original " Flying Sparrow " name and act .Sale price : Naturally it is now reduced taking off the presumed cost of the lower eund lower unit replacementGuarantee or Warrantee : There is none. I am not a mechanic. Just a boat loving consumer. I am telling what I know from experience and what I am told by the expensive professionals. If you do, you are buying this boat as is with no promise of repair of or otherwise improvement.Good Luck
