I have a 1988 Four Winns 180 Horizon 18' open-bow stern drive. The engine is a 4.3L V6 - 175HP - OMC. It has a deep-V hull which cuts through waves and wakes. The interior needs a rehaul. Some seat seams are split, some supports under the floor in the middle are loose, and some of the padding in general has wear and tear but it's all there. Most of the floor is part of the hull(fiberglass), which is strong, so it's just the middle part that is weak. The drivetrain runs great, it floats and the hull is in great shape. I just had it out on Bantam Lake a couple weekends ago. I've also taken it down the CT River last year.Just in the past few days, it appears there is a gas leak in the tank. I siphoned enough gas out to stop it. The tank is a large 27 gallon which is perfect for longer hauls. I started to take it apart, but frankly I don't have the time this year to fix it, and decided it's better to sell than to just take up space. The pictures show how a panel can be removed from the floor to get to the tank, as well as a view of the tank itself. This boat would be great for someone who has the time, knowledge and patience to do some restoration of the interior(or who doesn't care about how it looks and just wants a working boat), and can fix the gas tank or have it fixed. It may also serve well for someone who just wants to part it out. I've seen some outdrives on here sell for just about what I'm asking for the boat.Boat comes with an awesome Escort trailer with side bumpers to ease loading from the dock, as well as diamond plated platforms on the side to step onto when getting in and out of the boat on land. No more messing around with ladders and pulled groins. It also has a brand new dual-vented, fitted cover that isn't even a year old. It will come with several life jackets, throwable, charged fire extinguisher, working horn, working blower: everything needed to pass safety laws as required by the State of CT.The boat also has a diving deck w/ ladder, a large built-in cooler, trim position sensor, bilge pump, and some space for storage under the deck. I rebuilt the carburetor last year. I also have a thick SELOC repair book that covers everything. If you wish to see it, I will start the engine with some reluctance due to the gas leak, to show that it runs great. Because of safety, I would not feel comfortable putting it into the water until that is fixed. Please message me about seeing it.Since in my mind this is just taking up space in my yard, I really want to sell it. I will consider any fair offer, so please send them, you might be surprised! If you are relatively close(< 20-30 miles), I can tow this to you after purchase. Otherwise, please be willing and ready to come here and take it away.
