This 42' Executioner has just been put in the waterand completely gone through with nothing spared! It has anew cockpit, enginehatch, and cabin upholstery from theFountain factoryas well as new carpet, custom dash withcompressor temperature gauge, turbine tach, gear box tach, oil temp, oil pressure, amp gauge, and switches to activate theturbine shaft brakes.It has a brandnew set if XR drives with 2'' shorties, 7 blade Hering props(33 pitch). She is ready foraction and sounds like fighter jet flying across the water turning heads on and off the water!She wasbuilt for running high RPMs all day long. I have put a lot of money andtime, three yearsin this project-but I have turned sixty and mommy wants it gone!Won't let the grand kids go for a ride so it's up for sale because she is afraid I'll kill them! Don't think she is too worried about me though!

Theturbine engines are pratt & whitney PT6,rated at1,000 hp each. Ithink they arecloser to 800#hp each.They will run on kerosene, #2 diesel or jet-A,. Iuse diesel.The fuelconsumption is around80 gph at wide open throttle and runs efficiently near wide open throttle all day long without trouble. At 80 percent of full throttle cruising speed isbetween 80-90 mph as set upwith 7 blade 33 pitchHering props. Wide openup tospeeds a little over 100 mph. It has the same step hull as thenewboats from fountain.Although twice the price of similar powered gasoline engines, turbines have lower fuel and maintenance costs and are less than 1/3 the weight.Complete engines weigh less than 400 pounds, a weight savings of some 1,500 pounds overpiston engines.The operating life isabout five times greater thanthat of high-performance gasoline engines. Eazy to operate toinitiate the start-up procedure. First, turn on the ignition switches which energize the starting motoras well asigniter and wind up the compressor to 16 percent of full rpm. At this point, throw the fuel flow valves switch on. Hold the ignition key on until the compressor reaches 50 percent of maximum rpm and the turbine engine comes to life withthat distinctive turbinewhine that's guaranteed to turn all heads at your marina. Noise levelis aboutthe same aswith high-performance gasoline engines. Itis also equipped with headphones that plug in so everyone on boardcan converse. These also second asmufflers for your ears. The headphones all so work with your ipod so youmay enjoy the music on yourride.The boatis equipped with hydraulic brakes to briefly slow down the turbinedrive gearshafts below 400 rpmso it can beshifted making it easy to maneuver in the marina. You do not have to use electric trolling motors to maneuver asyou would with other turbine boats.
