2003 34 Fountain Center ConsoleStill Trippin is an amazing boat, with every possible feature you could want in a high performance center console. With the custom aqua color gel coat, and (3) Verado 250s the boat gets a lot of attention. Whether your plans call for a day of fishing, diving, or just cruising around on the water, youll find that the drivability and economy of the Fountains are impossible to beat. The verados move the boat along nicely, and with a stepped hull and engine configurations, the fuel burn is better than any boat in its class. The Fountain drives unbelievably well due to the hull layout, rolled-down bow, and high visibility driving position. Bow rise is minimal, and the overall visibility from the helm inspires confidence in any seas. The power on tap from the Verados feels proportionate to the boat, and the amazing Verado power steering means docking or high speed runs can be done with as little as one finger on the wheel. Youd be hard pressed to find an easier driving boat.Ive never fished a center console Ive liked more than this boat. The forward deck has nearly enough room to land a helicopter, so casting pitch baits, and spotting bait balls is no longer a difficult task. The self draining decks ensure youre never standing in water, and the below deck storage on the Fountains is simply amazing. There are endless rod holders on deck, and everything from the built-in tackle drawers to the world-class livewell setup makes the boat an ideal fishing machine. The boat has been upgraded with a full Garmin navigation set up, including two GPS units, HD radar, High Chirp transducer, GSD 26 Sounder and integrated weather and XM radio network. The stereo system sounds amazing with speakers integrated into all areas of the boat, and two 10 Alpine subwoofers integrated into a custom box near the rear. A new Standard Horizon VHF with built in GPS always ensures youre in touch with your neighbors.Performance:The performance of these hulls/power combo has been well researched- but here you go- real world numbers: 4000 rpm= 42-44 mph, burning 30-36 gph depending on load/conditions, 6200 rpm= 63-65 mph, burning 60 plus gph- Boat is set up with 22' bravo's.. Most people are running 24' bravo's- you can get more speed across the board with 24's- but I'm not a speed guy- and like the hole shot.Engines:(2) 2006 Verado 250s (700/725 hours per respectively)1 2012 Verado 250 (250 hours respectively)All 3 run perfect-no issues, Center 06' was replaced by previous owner- this is why the year/hours is different. Boat came from Fountain with 3 225 Merc (Yamaha). Fourstrokes, so the boat has been a trip 4 stroke set up since new.Options:Insane stereo (with bluetooth)K-plane tabsYeti coffin boxFull Garmin suite (GPS, Sonar, Radar, XM)Standard Horizon GX2200 VHF (with built in GPS)Freshwater & raw water washdownDive ladderAirhornsRupp OutriggersRemote controlled spotlightLED navigation lightsIntegrated LED gunnell lightingSea View Underwater LED lightingAft deck LED lighting4 new marine batteries with warrantyLivewell360 gallon main tank with 60 gallon forward aux tank635ish rod holdersAnd Im sure theres more Im forgettingTrailer:2006 Float-on with triple axle disk brakesNew tires in 2014New disk brakes all around this yearNew hydraulic actuator this yearNew LED trailer lights this yearNew bearings and races this yearThis Fountain spent the better part of its life in fresh water, which is unusually rare for a center console of this size, but the lack of salt water wear is very apparent as soon as you step foot on the boat. The Fountain does have the usual surface spider cracks, and some wear for its age but nothing structural or out of the norm. Ill let the photos speak for themselves. If I were to keep the boat Id invest some time organizing some of the wiring in the aft. Everything works just fine, but the OCD side of me would like it to be a little cleaner. The Still Tripppin name is of course vinyl, and can be removed pretty easily in case the new owner decides not to trippp.I am the third owner, as the original owner kept the boat out west on a lake, and I purchased the boat from a gentleman out of Port St. Joe FL. Weve used it at our lakehouse just north of Atlanta, and occasionally taken it to the gulf, and just recently to the Abacos for a few weeks. Needless to say, the boat needs nothing and will make its new owner proud. Im selling the boat so were able to purchase a coastal property in the coming year, so this isnt a fire sale. As always, I welcome any surveys, sea trials, or general inquiries.
