Great Lakes Classic Cars proudly presents this 27' Fountain Fever;Let me first state that this boat is in Amazing Condition!Having been boating for over 30yrs and owned many of all styles and sizes, I can confidently say that this is among the cleanest, best maintained, and nicest I have had the privilege of acquiring and sharing. The quality of craftsmanship and functional design with style, safety, and performance are synonymous with the Fountain brand.Looking through the docs and welcome letter when new, it was interesting to find the performance specs and to know that boats at Fountain Powerboats are all tested prior to shipping to the reselling dealer. This particular boat was water tested by Reggie Fountain himself! And, that is cool!!!It is reported that on September 20, 1993 at 5:00pm Reggie took out this boat on a 75 degree day with winds 8-10mph with a 1' chop. The 502ci Mercruiser EFI mated to a Bravo One with Optional Mirage 14.5 x 23 Prop turned 5100rpms at 66mph. It was also posted that it was with 35 gallons of fuel on both tanks.Quite a lot of technical information to the consumer on their factual letterhead.I was especially intrigued by the last line on their welcome letter quoting Again, welcome to the Fountain family of satisfied boaters. If I can be of service, please don't hesitate to drop me a line. Sincerely, (and personally signed) Reginald M. Fountain Jr., Chairman/CEO/President As a self proclaimed Powerboat Freak, I loved it! Apparently the boat was always treated with love as if it needed, it got it.Eighteen years into ownership, the Fountain was up for a refresher and so in 2012 it received a NEW complete 502ci Mercruiser EFI engine assembly. Professionally Installed and we have the receipts. The following year the Graphics were professionally replaced and trailer repainted. The hull only has a total of 400 hours and the driveline has less than 130 per previous owner. It doesn't end there with this boat; The paint and Imron graphics are in beautiful and I mean beautiful condition. The interior cockpit and cabin are equally clean and impressive. The drop down bolsters are electric and like the rest of the seating, free of significant marks and no tears; it's not even sun faded. Carpeting is clean with no stains or tears.Cabin has a comfortable 'V' berth and porta potti. Of course it has a hydraulic engine hatch operated easily and effortlessly with the push of a button that is padded and factory upholstered to match. The engine compartment (bilge) is CLEAN, and clearly has always been. Also equipped with fire suppression Halon extinguisher .Zero Effort Kiekhaefer throttle and shift controls. Mechanical trim indicators for Tabs and Drive. Mach CRT cordless rotary Trim switch on steering wheel. Offshore Racing Kiekhaefer HD Trim Tabs. Smoked Plexiglass Windshield with venturi. Stewart-Warner Instrumentation and Nordskog Speedometer. Premium large Garmin All-In-One GPS Cartography with Depth Sonar and expandable Radar and more Navigation System. When all done playing tidy up and cover it with the custom tailored sunbrella cockpit cover. This package also comes complete with a custom matching HD twin axle trailer also bearing the Fountain brand.Books and associated documents come with it as well.Need financing and or shipping? We can help, give us a call.
