FORMULA SS 280

Here is a nice project for handyman. This is a 280 SunSport with twin 5.7 liter Mercruisers. It had Bravo outdrives which have been stolen. Boat was purchased from insurance company that apparently hadtotaledit because it took on water. That is all I know about it other than what is in this description.It has a clean New York title. The boat came to us with engine harnesses, fuel lines and throttles unhooked like someone was getting ready to steal the motors. I reconnected harnesses and throttles to start engines. Still some misc things not tested.The motors look good. Both have new edlebrock four barrel carbs.They run good and sound good. One alternator or belt makes some noiseoccasionally. I installed a $50 classifieds board starter in starboard engine which is grindingoccasionally.. may need shimming or replacement.Trimswitches for tabs and tiltnot working, may be wires disconnected. Windlass works going up but solenoid clicks down. One choke not working.Onboard battery charger works. Most items such as Gauges, lights and bilge pump work. Some things will need wires/connectors cleaned or replaced.Hull has some scratches in gel but nothing structural. Cabin has nice bathroom with pump out toilet and macerator. Cabin cushions are mismatched as shown. Some stains in cabin.Cockpit is in pretty good shape. Upholstery has some fading, seams splitting and cracking as shown.Boat is a project sold as-is with clean title.Needs outdrives, possibly a starter and other misc things some of which I may not know or may have not mentioned. Inspections are recommended before bidding.TRAILER NOT INCLUDED.
