Formula LS F-3

You are looking at a 1985 FORMULA LS F-3 speed boat.NO RESERVE!!It sits on its original trailer. I purchased this boat over 10 years ago with a blown engine. Since then I have done quite a bit of work to it. This includes:Engine:*Rebuilt 5.7L engine approx 300 hp (have origin paperwork for the engine-currently has 74 hours on it)*New 4" exhaust slant cuts tips (thru hull exhaust)

*New bow rollers*2 New tires-others ok*Winch sandblasted and painted*New Tie Down Engineering complete braking system (includes receiver w/ actuator, rubber lines, backing plates, calipers, etc. Also has removable pin for making backing the trailer up easy. This system was over $1200 alone.*New LED lights on the trailer-i believe 1 is broken and one doesn't work correctly*bearings were removed, cleaned, and reinstalled all correctly greasedBoat:*All wood replaced in the seats, engine hatch, armrests, accent pieces, etc. The original upholstery was reused. Most of it was in pretty nice shape.*A few of the engine gauges were changed (do not match but believe we still have originals)*Snap in floor carpet*V-berth is in great shape, plenty of storage under the bed, overhead hatch, side port windows, porta poti as well.*New stereo system and Polk Audio speakers-4*The bellows, shifter cable, gimble bearing, shift shaft seal, etc were all replaced as well as new

*Swim platform professionally cleaned and sealed (looks incredible!)*Garmin GPS unit mounted on helmWhat the boat needs or could use:*carburetor linkage needs slight adjustment to get full throttle*original dash black cover (like a big sticker) peeling in some areas around edges*rear seat cushions have a few areas that are becoming unstiched or are worn and could be reupholstered (front seats and engine hatch are very nice).*stereo will not power up (maybe a fuse or battery wire-did work nicely last season)*some of the small exterior original decals are peeling*bimini top fastback window has some yellowish hazing (top is original to boat)*the original black gelcoat does have a few cosmetic scratches and imperfections as any 31 year old boat would.*Included with the boat is a black mooring cover as well however, needs some restitching around the perimeter.I have well over 14k invested into this boat and trailer in the years i have owned it. There are a few things it could use to finish it but it is completely usable as is. I have too many toys and haven't had the time to finish it or even use it yet this season. We only used it 3 times last season. It has never seen salt water. We did take it to Lake George a few times over the past few yearsIt has not yet been buffed/waxed and detailed yet this season, it could use it. This boat was kept indoors and was never shirik wrapped, however, having too many toys pushed it outside this spring which is why is has not yet been detailed. I would rather sell it then have it sit outside. It has NEVER had bottom paint of any kind and the boat bottom is in great shape. This boat has always been a lift and trailer baby, never left in the water for longer than a weekend. It has taken a few trips up north (kingston and catskill area).

The boat is not perfect, there are a few things here an there that could use attention as listed above but it is a great wave cutting boat that sounds INCREDIBLE. I have had many of the go-fast guys come up and ask me what it has in it when it's running because of how good it sounds!

I have a clean NYS Title/Reg for the boat. The trailer I will sign a bill of sale (never had paperwork for it). Boat must be paid for within 3 days of end of the auction. Boat must be picked up within 7 days of the end of the auction. Boat and trailer sold "as-is".Other arrangements can be made with the winning bidder if discussed before the end of the auction. We can also help with delivering to a shipping port if going overseas. We welcome serious bidders to come and look at the boat for yourselves before the auction is over.
