1984 Formula F-3 LS Sport Boat. The boat is 21'6" in length with an 8' beam. The bottom is a V- bottom with a 22 degree deadrise. The hull and the transom are solid. This was purchased as a project boat. The heavy work has been completed. It needs a Mercruiser Chevrolet engine complete with power steering and seawater pump. In addition, the engine cover, driver, passenger, and rear couch seats need to be upholstered. The interior has been repaired and renewed. A new instrument panel w/sevenFariah gauges, a switch panel, and 12v auxiliary power port has been installed.The dash wiring has been upgraded to marine-grade, color-codedwiring. It has been wired in compliance with the factory schematic. The trim tabs are Lenco High Performance 12"assemblies w/LED position lights. The Fariah depth indicator is transom-mounted. A marine AM/FM/CD radio w/remote and 4-speakers (two in the cabin and two in the cockpit) has been installed. All the flotation compartments have been disassembled and repaired. All the original 1/2" plywood has been replaced with 3/4" plywood that has been barrier-coated with fiberglass resin. The interior of the compartments was filled with two-part A-B foam and sealed. The exterior of the compartments has beenfiberglassed and painted with marine gray bilgecoat. The battery capacity was extended to two. A battery selector switch is included.
This boat was originally ordered with the optional three-tone gelcoat- red, black, white, dual bow docking lights, a windscreen, and a head w/dockside pump-out. The head and tank; however, were removed by the previous owner. The thru-hull exhaust is polished 4" stainless steel w/baffles. The bow, stern, cockpit, and engine compartment lights are LED lights. The cuddy cabin has storage compartments, a day bed for two, two couch seats, four interior lights, two inward-opening hull windows, and a deck hatch. All the deck railing and hardware are stainless steel.
The original engine was a 350 Chevrolet small block; however, the previous owner had a 454 installed. The outdrive is a Mercruiser Bravo1.
The trailer is a Towmaster model 21-23T aluminum tandem axlew/disc brakes. Itis in excellent condition. There are four new 14" galvanized steel wheels with new 205/65R14 tires. The used spare wheel is 14" with an excellent used 205/65R14 tire. The trailer wiring is new. The tail lights, brake lights, and marker lights are new LED lights.
This was to be a fun, high-speed sport boat; however, illness forces me to sell.
