I am the 2nd owner of this speedboat. She has been babied and garage kept her whole life.

The pics should say it all but shes got a new stainless prop, alpha 1 outdrive with new lower unit (SEI). Shes got the Merc 288 5.0, 188 HP. shell do 55 on a calm lake.

Shes got lots of wood and chrome and runs like a clock. Kids dont use her anymore and I spend my time on the fishing boat. Closed bow good for storage, I have tow rope and skis and tubes galore that will go with the boat. Trailer has bearing buddies and new axles on both sides.

I will run engine in driveway for interested buyers and will do a sea test when buyer shows up with cash. An elegant cruiser from a different era of speedboating. No plastic on her, the shifter is stainless and the wheel is metal wrapped in leather. Also including hummingbird GPS / fish finder as pictured.

I would like to talk with the private seller who is selling this Formula. I looked over the pictures carefully. I bought this boat new at T &V Marina in Chicago in 1981 and sold 26 years later. Please contact me by email. I wish I would have hung on to this one, but I let it get away.

Is this boat still available? I'm wondering why the seller hasn't emailed me. Perhaps, you don't think I am the orginal owner. In 1981 T &V Marine on Harlem Ave. in Chicago was a Formula dealer. The boat was serviced there for the frist few years. T & V went out of business and one of the owners opened up BMC in Berywn where the boat was serviced or about 20 years. BMC sold it for me. I never met the buyer. Many years ago, I out a little black piece of Dynotape over the ignition switch which says WRV 4181, the call letters of the VHF radio. From your photo of the dashboard, I still see that piece of Dynotape. Please email me.
