For sale is a 1999 28' bow rider with twin 280HP Volvo 5.7L (5.7Gsi) engines, 560HP total, each with a dual prop drive. it's top end is about 53 MPH on its built-in GPS (see picture below). The boat gets up and moves VERY quickly, for its size, if you hammer it; if the driver hammers it while trying to slalom behind it, it will pull the handle right from your hands without the skier gaining an inch - ask my wife how I know that... This boat is nice and wide with a fantastic layout built for families/entertaining, but also great for just cruising around in and is also very smooth on the water. Engine hours when I bought it was 363, and I've put roughly 95 hours on it, so the boat now has about 460 hours.Since I bought the boat in late 2009, I've done the following:

Rebuilt the top end of the port engine (completed @363 hours)

Replaced all 4 exhaust manifolds (completed @363 hours)

Replaced all 4 exhaust risers (completed @363 hours)

Full paint job to update the look by about a decade - (completed in 2011)

White/Off-white upholstery throughout with updated colors/vinyl and stainless cup holders (completed in 2011)

Top-quality marine carpet throughout including swim platform (completed in 2011)

Bimini top with custom extension to reach the back seating area (completed in 2011)

Corian counter top on above deck bar/sink area (looks fantastic compared to original) (2011)

Sunbrella custom fit boat cover - the cover has been protected by being under roof it's whole life, as such it is virtually still new - these are now running around $1k alone. It has been sitting out for the last few months so it is finally seeing normal weather - it's 10 years old, and isn't perfect, but still a REALLY nice cover.

All new gauges including Lowrance digital NMEA 2000 gauge with GPS unit and fuel flow sensors (sensor shown in two images below) allowing "mpg" to be shown, GPS speed, etc. (completed @363 hours in 2011)

Sony stereo with USB connection for iPhone/Android playback, and dash mounted remote and 1200W marine amplifier with ken wood subwoofer.

Replaced most of the hydraulic trim hose lines to the drives and 2 internally to the port trim motor. (07/2018)

Replaced seals on lower unit of starboard outdrive, and filled with synthetic gear oil. (spring/2019)

Replaced both trim sensor units. (spring/2019)While I've done the above improvements, and the boat is nice, prospective buyers must realize it isn't a new boat and isn't 100% perfect. Additionally, improvements made are no longer brand new and should NOT be considered as such. The screen on the fish finder is not working, and the unit should be replaced if a fish finder is desired; I've not bothered since with it stopped displaying properly. The fume detector behind the throttles on the inner sidewall does not work properly. Though it turns on, it should be considered broken; again I've not worried about it, because I just run the blowers before starting as you should anyway. I can speak to the history of the boat since I've owned it, which has been kept at Lake of the Ozarks since 2009; I bought it from a dealer and do not know it's prior uses.I do have a triple axel trailer (shown in pics) available for sale if you need a trailer to move the boat for $3500 -it is NOT included with the listing, as some local buyers may not want a trailer.This trailer is triple axle Aluminum Slide-On brand trailer. The trailer has surge brakes. The tires have approximately 1500 miles on them and tread depth is great.Recently, I've done the following to the trailer:

New carpeted treated main bunk - only 1 bunk was rotting

New carpeted treated middle bunks

New brake master cylinder

New brake slave cylinders

New hard brake lines and flex drop lines to axels
