Looking for a great family cruiser that is big enough to have all of the amenities but not so big you can't take it with you? This is the boat. She's a 2004 Formula 27PC and is immaculate. She's just shy of 30' from bow to stern and has a 97" beam. This is a heavy, well made, boat that handles the water very well. The bottom side is finished in dark blue and she has a white upper deck. Inside, there is sleeping arrangements for 4 people comfortably and is very roomy. The cabin is in great shape with plush leather and carpet throughout. It's clean, smoke free, and looks like it's less than a year old. Sleeping on her is easy with a full Air Conditioning system that works great and will blow you out of there if you're not careful! It has a TV/DVD player that work great as well. The front couch turns into a bed easily with filler cushions and is surprisingly comfortable. There is a sink, microwave, and refrigerator downstairs that all work perfectly. The head has a VacuFlush (with macerator) setup that works great, shower, sink, and storage. Upstairs at the helm looks like an airplane at first, but everything is in just the right place. All of the buttons and gadgets work as well as all of the electronics. It comes with a GPS system, depth finder, ship-to-shore radio, full AM/FM CD MP3 player, and a standard compass. Also she has a power spotlight with 360* range and an electric windlass that pulls and lowers the anchor for you. She comes with a bimini cover, a road cover, full zip in cockpit enclosure (with windows) for another sleeping area, and snap in carpet as well. The tower houses two marine speakers, overhead lights, antennas, and anchor light. Under the hatch, she houses twin small block 5.0l Fuel Injected Mercury Marine engines with Bravo 3 counter-rotating drives. The engines are small enough to still be fuel efficient, but plenty big to push this cruiser around 35 mph loaded with 8 people. They start right up, sound great, run excellent, and only have 350 hours on them. The trim tabs help level her out while cruising down the lake. We put two new starting batteries in last year as well as a new house battery. She has an on-board charging system and a 30 amp shore-power hook up. Also under the hatch is a Kohler 5KW generator that starts right up, is next to silent, and puts more than enough power out to power all of the goodies.
I'm going to stop rambling on about this wonderful boat and let a potential buyer come out and inspect for themselves. You're not going to find a better boat for the money, let alone with a full custom aluminum 30' tri-axle trailer. It's ready to pull anywhere you want to go. It pulls easy with a one ton truck, but we pull with a 3/4 ton and it does fine. This isn't a boat and trailer for a half ton though. . .loaded up with gear, fuel, and water and you're pushing the 13k pound mark.
If you're reading this ad, chances are you know what you're looking at, however I encourage you to go to Formula's website and price out a new one. The last time I checked this boat, new, was over $220,000 WITHOUT a trailer or extras. She was just bottom painted this year, washed, waxed, and de-winterized. Both engines fired right up without goofy noises or anything out of the ordinary. Oil has been changed at the end of every season, drive oil changed, u-joints greased, and anti-freeze was flushed through all of the systems in the boat. No expense has been spared. She looks much better in person, pictures don't do her justice. We didn't use her as much as we thought we would last year, and this year hasn't been any different so we figured we would offer her up to another good home.
If you have any questions, feel free to call, text or email me at any time and I should be able to answer any questions you might have. This is a no disappointments or surprises kind of boat, turn the keys and go. I am being more than fair with my asking price. I am open to REASONABLE offers, but keep in mind the word reasonable. My number is phone if you need to get a hold of me for any reason.
Please keep in mind that I have tried to describe her the best way I know how. It does have a few minor scratches here and there, but nothing you wouldnt expect from a year old boat, let alone a 10 year old. It runs, pulls, and sounds excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to load up and head anywhere in her. We have taken excellent care of her, and hope someone will enjoy her like we did. She is currently sitting on the trailer at my house, so youre more than welcome to come take a peek inside and out. Id be more than willing to fire the engines up for you. If the winner decides to sea trial, we have a lake 40 minutes from my house you can run around on. If for some reason when you get here you decide that the boat is not how I described it, dont take it homesimple as that. I am more than confident that whoever is the lucky winner of this auction will fall in love with her the way we did.
Please have your financing done before making the offer, check with your wife first...all that good stuff. Ifyou have less than 5 feedback, please email or call me before making an offer. Thanks!
