2003 Formula 260 SS Sunsport with custom 2004 Loadmaster trailer.I will post more photos next week when I visit it in storage. A lot of info below, I will try to remember anything additional. If you have any questions at all, shoot me an email or a text or a phone call and I'll get right back to you.Boat is currently stored near Lake Cumberland, I will be there next weekend to get more photos & information. I could trailer it to near Chicago as well, or anywhere in between if we work out a deal.It pains me to sell this boat as I know I won't find another as clean, or nice in this price range down the road. We aren't able to have a boat lift at our community boat slip in our new home, and I can't bring myself to let this float in the water while not being used. We purchased a pontoon last year to use on the chain and this didn't see much use last year except for a trip to Lake Cumberland. Our favorite parts about this boat are it's extremely smooth ride in any conditions, ability to plane out at slow speeds for watersports, and great efficiency while still being able to clip along at almost 50mph when you desire. The cabin allows for a great escape out of the sun/heat on crazy hot days. The tandem helm which has each seat have it's own drop out bolster, allows for someone to sit near the driver. This boat is very unlike most smaller cuddy's in that there is plenty of room for as many friends as you'd want to take with in the cockpit, due to the wrap around sitting area. Finally, the boat has an excellent trailer sitting under it, I'll go into that below.Boat has Kentucky registration as we used it on Lake Cumberland from September until May when weather would allow.Clear titles are in hand for both the trailer & the boat.I am open to offers and trade ideas, with cash on either side as well. Wife and I are interested in class B campers currently but will entertain whatever.Boat has around 400 hours, I will have to check on the exact number.Full camper canvas in excellent condition- I'm unsure this was used by the previous owners ever, we put it up once. Isinglass is in great shape. Bimini top with boot is in excellent condition.Boat has a porcelain head w/18-gallon holding tank & pumpout, which is rare for this model, typically they will have a removable porta-poti. VHF Ship to shore radio with antenna. Boat has an automatic, integrated fire extinguisher system in the engine compartment.Cockpit has filler cushions and removable table for wrap-around sitting area. There are no tears/issues or blemishes in any of the interior. The counter area houses the original removable cooler as well as a garbage can.The cockpit cover has a small ~2" tear above the cockpit counter/faucet area. The rear of the engine hatch on the starboard side, closer to the swim platform, has some slight scratches due to a cockpit cover strap coming undone while trailering, they may be able to be buffed out. I haven't tried yet.The trailer has a bad LED tail light I need to replace. The boat cruises all day long at 30-32 mpg sipping fuel.Boat will run a sneeze under 50mph and planes out quickly & without fuss.6.2 Mercruiser engine with bravo 3 outdrive. Outdrive was removed and serviced in 2017 by a local reputable marina. The shift cable was replaced at this time. All lights, speakers, switches, options, gauges, everything, works perfectly. Boat has freshwater tank that has washdown on rear swim platform & sink with faucet in cockpit. The pump was replaced in 2018 for this system.Boat has two large deep cycle batteries with isolator switch in the cockpit.Best colors in my opinion you could have gotten this year. The white/blue is timeless, and the chrome/silver accents are as well. Much better than some of the gold accented versions that were put out around these years. We purchased this boat 3 years ago from second owner with 320 hours. Second owner kept boat in indoor in/out rack storage his entire ownership duration which began in 2006 and ended in 2017 when we purchased it. Before that it was kept in rack storage to be used on Lake Erie. The boat's fiberglass and gel is in excellent condition. I have waxed the boat at least twice a year since I have had it and the boat is kept indoors when not being used. Boat has only seen freshwater it's entire life. One of the largest contributing factors to me purchasing this exact boat, was the quality of trailer for the boat. Whoever spec'd out this trailer when new, checked all of the boxes when it was ordered. First off, most trailers for this size boat will have twin 5,200 lb axles. The trailer here has twin 6,000 lb axles. Next, is my favorite part about hauling this boat- the trailer has electric over hydraulic brakes. What this means is yes, you need a brake controller for this trailer, which most vehicles capable of pulling a boat of this size, will likely have from the factory. The GREAT part of this though- is no surge brake "issues" no SLAM when getting going from a stop, no jerk on applying brakes, no issues going into reverse to back down a boat ramp where the surge brakes can lock up. Also, something most people don't think about but if you are on a steep ramp, brakes this style will actuate in reverse when the tow vehicles brakes are applied... surge brakes will not as they would have to be locked out to back down the ramp.... on a steep ramp, this is some more reassurance as the trailer isn't relying only on the tow vehicle for braking power. It was a pricey option to add to this trailer no doubt, but an amazing upgrade for an item most people skimp over.If you want to read more about this braking system, here's an article.https://www.boatus.com/magazine/trailering/2013/february/electric-over-hydraulic-brakes.aspAnother great thing about this is the tongue length is greatly reduced compared to most boat trailers, because there is no need for the lengthy surge coupler. My 20' long pontoon boat has a greater tow length than this Formula on the trailer. This also leads to better towing characteristics as the boat is closer to the tow vehicle for less wind restriction. I would tow this boat anywhere on this trailer without hesitation. In 2017 the trailer received new bunk boards, brakes, winch, winch strap and tires. In 2018 I replaced the tongue jack with a new version of what came from the factory on this trailer.Formula's description for this year & model:260 SUN SPORT STANDARD EQUIPMENTEXTERIOR NMMAImron graphic A, B or C w/cockpit accent striping Pressure-treated Perma PanelTM structural hull matrix Foam-filled hull cavities Chemically bonded & thru-bolted deck-to-hull jointHeavy-duty PVC gunwale w/stainless steel insertConcealed fiberglass anchor lockerStainless steel hardware & stainless welded railsPop-up fuel capBomar cabin venting hatch w/screenTwo port lights w/screensNonskid foredeck center walkwayTinted, tempered curved-glass windshield w/center walk-thruWindshield wiperAir hornstainless transom grab rail & ski tow eyeTransom-mounted stereo remote controlIntegrated swim platform w/concealed stainless steel swim ladderContinuous molded fiberglass deck & cockpit linerMolded fiberglass in-dash deck access steps w/ stainless handrailDash panels w/burl wood finish & brushed metallic finishComplete VDO OceanTM backlit instrumentation, domed w/chrome bezelsRitchie compassDigital depth sounderShift/throttle control w/trim switchSafety ignition stop switch w/tetherDino tilt steering wheel w/burl & brushed metallic insetsFingertip boat leveler switchesAuxiliary 12V outletIlluminated waterproof accessory rocker switches w/E-T-A circuit breakersClarion Xtreme AM/FM/CD stereo w/changer control and high power outputsatellite compatibleTwo 160W 6x9 3-way marine-grade speakersNine drink holdersCourtesy lightingWeather-resistant cockpit seating featuring Dri-Fast foam & StarLite XL synthetic marine panel constructionTwin command seating w/dual-position helm & passenger seatsPort lounge w/integrated storageU-shaped aft lounge seating w/storageMolded fiberglass cockpit galley w/integrated sink, Starboard covers, concealed trash receptacle, 2-quart Igloo cooler & integral stainles safety railDemand water systemFire extinguisherBattery selector switchIn-floor ski storageConcealed fender storage w/two fendersBerber cockpit carpetTransom doorBimini top & aft canopy in color-matched non-fading Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic fabric with water-repellentSeamarkTM vinyl undercoating, or white polyester fabric w/double-coated resin topside &water-resistant underside coatingCockpit cover in color-matched non-fadingSunbrella solution-dyed acrylic fabric with water-repellentSeamark vinyl undercoating, or white polyester fabric w/double-coated resin topside & water-resistant underside coatingCABIN Sliding/locking cabin doorUltra leather U-shaped forward dinette lounge/double berth w/table & filler cushionsCustom dcor pillows & draperies Two 100W 6 1/2 2-way marine-grade speakersConcealed portable head unitCarbon monoxide fume detectorENGINE ROOMSingle engine installationMotorized hatch liftCourtesy lightingFume detectorAutomatic fire extinguisherThru-bolted engine mountsRemote oil filterTwo deep-cycle batteries w/battery retainersActive & passive galvanic corrosion protection systemsblowersAutomatic bilge pumpBennett hydraulic trim tabsStainless steel props
