Up for sale is my 1989 Formula 311 SR-1. This is a freshwater boat since brand new. I am the 3rd owner and have owned it for 14 years! This boat has had the best of care, has been stored indoors since brand new, and needs nothing! I have never run the boat hard, and it only has 577 hours. I have done everything possible to keep it the way it came out of the factory. It is as unmolested as you could ever hope to find in a boat of this vintage. I have replaced all belts, hoses, batteries, gimble bearings, sea water pumps, and pretty much every rubber component on it in the last few years. Nothing ever failed, I just like thing trouble free. I have every service record for this honey since new, the original manuals, and even the original 1989 Formula brochure! I am not 100% sure, but I think this was the 311 brochure boat for 1989. The color scheme is Palm Beach #3. It is equipped with Mercruiser twin 454's 330hp, Bravo drives, K-planes with manual indicators for the drives and tabs, fresh water system with sink and swim deck shower, AC/DC refrigerator, pump out head with macerator, bimini top, full camper canvas (never used), stand up bolsters, Silent thunder exhaust, swim ladder, VHF radio, shore power with battery charger, Kiekhaefer shifters and throttles, cockpit cover, nose cover, plus much more. About ten years ago I purchased a roll of each of the vinyl colors and a roll of factory seat foam from Formula because they were going to quit making it. I have enough vinyl and foam do completely re-do the interior! I had the engine hatch re-done about 10 years ago to all white because the colored panels that were original were too hot on those mid-summer afternoons. The only thing that is non-factory is the sound system. It originally had a cassette with a 10 disc changer. It was upgraded to an Alpine head unit with I-pod and Bluetooth, Focal speakers, and an Alpine 10" sub under the rear seat. For power I re-purposed vintage Rockford Fosgate Punch amps, a punch 150 and a Punch 50 that I bought new in the late 80's. The trailer is a 1989 Myco that is in as good of shape as the boat is. It has new wheels and tires, and the brakes, wheel bearings, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and lines were all replaced 3 years ago. This is the NICEST 311 out there! The pictures look good, but the boat looks even better in real life. E-mail any questions, or call phone for more info or pics.
