I keep getting asked why did you put so much money in a 22 boat?
Uses less fuel per run hour than larger hulls
Easy to maneuver at the dock or launch ramp
Fits in the garage
Easy to tow with any truck including ton
Excellent boat on the river or on the lake
Faster than I want to go
How fast is the boat?
I have had the boat at 120 mph by GPS, with two people in the boat, and there was a lot more throttle left. With the boat's current configuration, I expect that under the correct conditions and with an experienced driver and safety equipment, top speed would be 140+ mph. Adjusting the trim tabs, changing the prop, and modifying the turbos and waste gates would probably add a lot of top end. I am not recommending anyone take any boat to these speeds without experience and restraint.
