D&M Motorsports opened the doors of our new Glen Ellyn facility on January 1, 2000. Since then, we have solidified ourselves as an expert in the realm of the motor sport industry. I had been wanting a Shelby gt500 since they started coming back out. it took me many years to save the money needed to buy this car. I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. When I found the one D&M had for sale I knew I wanted the car because it was 2010 grabber blue with red stripe ( never seen the combo before ) I always said I would never buy a car sight unseen but everything just felt right. They were great, helpful and most of all not pushy. I took a big risk in buying this car because if any issues It would take me a long time to save again. Worry no more, car arrived and is unbelievable. It was as advertised if not better. Still has new car smell and it has 9,300 miles. I cant be happier that I made this decision. Also of note had minor setback with missing wheel lock key and notified D&M to see if they had it. They never found it but offered to pay for replacement. Being that's the only misstep I think they came through with flying colors (grabber blue of course) did a little research and did find out this color combo is low production and was also the color combo picked by no other then Mr. Carroll Shelby himself. My name is Jim and I have been collecting cars for over 46 years. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. Because of the low miles on the car Dave arranged with Mike to deliver the car in an enclosed trailer to my home. Mike is the President & owner of D&M yet he took the time to deliver the car himself. In 67 years I have never taken the time to write a review on anyone, but D&M is truly special. Kevin & Angie were also fun to talk with and my entire experience was like hanging out with good friends. I went back to pick up my plates and ended up buying a 2001 Vette. The truly unusual part of this deal was Mike took my pristine 1940 Chevy coupe in on trade. D&M is a High end sports car and Corvette dealer yet he took an antique car in on trade just to close the deal. I have been back several times just to wander their fantastic show room because every week they get in four or five different cars. My name is George W, I'm 65 years old, and always had a yearning for a corvette. I started looking at web sites just to see what was out there and came across D & M. The photos and detailed description of each car is outstanding and gives you a feel for the vehicle. I was a total novice and didn't have a clue what to look for or what questions to ask. I spoke with Angie and she was very helpful in explaining the different models and options. I pretty much zeroed in on one car, thought about it for a couple of days and called her back and ordered it. Everything was professionally handled over the phone or internet. The car had to be transported 600 miles, the first transporter didn't have the proper equipment, so D&M refused to load my car and arranged for a second transporter. It is not my custom to do reviews since I have very little faith in the whole review process. Either you're so mad at the product or the seller you write a scathing report or you're so enthralled 2 days after you buy you gush with enthusiasm. No one seems to take the time to evaluate and come to a proper review to help the people looking for information. So I hope my words will be of value for a potential customer. I started looking for a Corvette in October of 2013 all over the Midwest and D & M Motorsports was just one of the dealers I pestered for 4 months, in those months I met with Angie and Dave checking out the cars I previously viewed and all their new arrivals. At no time was I pressured to purchase and every meeting was cordial and all my questions were answered no matter how long it took. In February 2014 they got inthe car I wanted and I made an offer they agreed too and with the contingency I could have the car checked out. Not only did they agree to my terms they even stored the car for a month till the weather broke and at no charge. The whole experience was 1st class and I was never treated better by a dealer new or used. I believe you have to remember you are dealing with used cars and anything can happen, which is not necessarily the fault of the seller. From the vehicles I looked at D & M all were in excellent shape and quality. The detailing of each car is outstanding and if you view the website and see the pictures you will see what I mean. I have been driving the car for over two months and again I am happy with my purchase and experience; please do your due-diligence and I think you will have the same results.

I believe that "trust" is key when it comes to buying car especially in the case of purchasing a car remotely. The only thing that I had to go on was provided pics over the web and a friendly voice on the other end of the line. But I assure you in a world of small shifty dealerships these guys are NOT THAT! I trust them (which is something that I never thought that I would say about a car dealer). The 2005 lotus that they sold me looks the same if not better sitting in my garage as they did in the pictures. The car runs great and is mint! It is one the finest examples of a low mile Elise that I had come across. They welcome 3rd party inspections and in that case as well the car passed with a perfect score. In short if you are going to "trust" someone with a purchase of a exotic car these are your "go to" guys.Dave and Angie were super professional. I asked for a lot and they were not only able but excited to help. That was another interesting point: they really love what they do and it shows!

We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime for any reason. All vehicles sold as-is and without warranty. Some vehicles may still have original manufacturers warranty remaining, or an extended warranty may be available for purchase. Miles posted in this listing are actual, but may vary slightly due to local test drives. All cars come with one master key unless otherwise stated. Vehicles come with books and/or manuals only if pictured in the photo gallery or stated in the ad. The following terms of sale apply to all of our listings.
Payment
We accept the following as valid payment: Certified check, bank-to-bank wire transfers, approved in-house financing through D&M Motorsports or 3rd-party financing. Payment must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid on classifieds board auction vehicles. Due to the difficulty of foreign currency/bank transactions, purchases from clients outside of the United States, must pay by wire transfer only. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please call us with any questions.
Deposit
The winning bidder is required to submit a $500 NON- REFUNDABLE deposit which is due immediately following the close of the auction. This $500 deposit is good towards the purchase of the vehicle and will be deducted from the total amount of the purchase (unless otherwise requested). We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX), PAYPAL and/or personal checks for the initial deposit only. Our maximum deposit/partial payment by credit card is $2000.
If the vehicle cannot be picked up or paid for completely within 7-days from the close of auction, a $2,000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to extend our hold period to 14 days, unless other arrangements are made beforehand (just keep us informed, we're human, we recognize unforeseeable events). All deposits and fees collected are NON-REFUNDABLE in the event the vehicle is not paid for. Contact us for details.
Balance of Payment Due
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus ALL applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle and the vehicle needs to be paid for in full. If the car is not paid for (or other arrangements are not made), we reserve the right to resell the vehicle seven days after the close of the classifieds board auction or receipt of deposit.
Additional fees and taxes
Applicable fees are: (1) EVERY out-of-state transaction requires an additional $25.00 thirty-day Illinois drive-away permit fee and a $166.00 Illinois Documentary Fee. State sales tax is collected for all Illinois residents [7.25%] and City of Chicago residents are charged [8.5%]. We are also required to collect taxes for residents of tax- reciprocal states, which include: Arizona [5.60%], California [6.25%], Florida [6.0%], Hawaii [4.0%], Indiana [6.25%], Massachusetts [6.25%], Michigan [6.0%], and South Carolina [5.0%] or maximum $300.00.
Out of state buyers are responsible for ALL state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. We will provide you with proper sales tax documentation showing proof of the taxes we collect for you.
Vehicle Titles
In nearly every case, most vehicle titles are on hand and ready for delivery. Some vehicles need to be retitled to the dealer in Illinois, and some titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans in process of pay off. In these cases, there may be a short delay in receiving the title and/or documents which can take 10 to 21 days from the time we pay the vehicle off. While these instances are rare, D&M Motorsports guarantees that all vehicle titles are free and clear with no liens or liabilities on them. While we normally have all titles in our possession at the time of delivery, there are rare occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made via wire transfer or cashier's check, we will hold the title until ALL funds have cleared (typically 5-10 business days). Please call if you have any questions regarding our titling policy. ATTN International and Canadian Buyers: we can assist you by faxing proper sales and title documentation to the U.S. border crossing or shipping port of choice for you.
Vehicle Shipping
We will gladly coordinate shipping through a reputable shipping company - call us at phone for a FREE QUOTE or additional questions.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. D&M Motorsports only contracts with fully bonded and insured transportation services that will deliver the vehicle to your door. We are not affiliated with any transportation company and we assume NO responsibility for damages that may incur after your vehicle leaves our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company. You will pay for the shipping costs directly to the transportation company unless other arrangements are made. The transport usually takes about 1-3 days to set up. Once the carrier is set up, vehicle delivery usually takes between 2 and 10 days after the pick-up of the vehicle and varies by location, weather, holidays, etc. Please keep in mind that we are NOT affiliated with any shipping or transport companies. Once shipping has been coordinated, you will be provided with the shipping company information immediately so you can stay in contact with them to coordinate drop-off times.
Buyer Inspections
Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. D&M Motorsports has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for you to make an informed decision. Please be advised that used vehicles may have typical scratches, dings or minor wear and tear inherent with their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. Warranty Information and Extended Service Contracts
Some of our vehicles carry the balance of their new car factory warranty. Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, all vehicles are being sold "as-is". No representations or standard warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. We offer extended warranties (most but not all cars will qualify); please contact us for details.
Notice to Bidders
We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. It is agreed by all parties in relation to any transaction involving this vehicle that the proper venue for any legal proceedings will be conducted in the state of Illinois. Miles posted in this listing may vary slightly due to local test driving, in-transit repairs, or road testing. Vehicles that are older than 10 years and/or have more than 100,000 miles will be sold as miles exempt. These are pre-owned vehicles and they are sold as 'as-is' condition. Vehicle Condition
We pride ourselves in finding the best vehicles to resell. While we do all in our power to recondition cars to nearly-new condition, please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and flaws, as is standard on ANY pre-owned vehicle that has been driven. All pre-owned vehicles may have dings, nicks, chips, scratches and any other marks that are associated with use consistent with age and mileage of the vehicle. Any known obvious defects that are not normal wear and tear will be noted in the listing. DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING, please ask if you have any questions.
Bid Retractions
Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.
Negative or Zero Feedback Bidders
We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding.
Successful Bidder
The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes and it is imperative that he/she must contact D&M Motorsports within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.
Non-Paying Bidder
If your deposit is not received within 24 hours of the close of auction, or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer. Venue for any legal action such as claims, motions, litigation, settlements, or any legal action associated with this sale from either the buyer or seller is to take place in the State of Illinois. Placing your bid on this auction constitutes your agreement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. In addition, all non-paying bidders will be held liable for a $500 re- listing fee that if not paid, WILL be filed with all 3 major credit bureaus. You are entering into a Legal Purchase that should not be taken lightly. No excuses of any kind will be accepted by D&M Motorsports for non-Payment.

I had been wanting a Shelby gt500 since they started coming back out. it took me many years to save the money needed to buy this car. I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. When I found the one D&M had for sale I knew I wanted the car because it was 2010 grabber blue with red stripe ( never seen the combo before ) I always said I would never buy a car sight unseen but everything just felt right. They were great, helpful and most of all not pushy. I took a big risk in buying this car because if any issues It would take me a long time to save again. Worry no more, car arrived and is unbelievable. It was as advertised if not better. Still has new car smell and it has 9,300 miles. I cant be happier that I made this decision. Also of note had minor setback with missing wheel lock key and notified D&M to see if they had it. They never found it but offered to pay for replacement. Being that's the only misstep I think they came through with flying colors (grabber blue of course) did a little research and did find out this color combo is low production and was also the color combo picked by no other then Mr. Carroll Shelby himself. My name is Jim and I have been collecting cars for over 46 years. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. Because of the low miles on the car Dave arranged with Mike to deliver the car in an enclosed trailer to my home. Mike is the President & owner of D&M yet he took the time to deliver the car himself. In 67 years I have never taken the time to write a review on anyone, but D&M is truly special. Kevin & Angie were also fun to talk with and my entire experience was like hanging out with good friends. I went back to pick up my plates and ended up buying a 2001 Vette. The truly unusual part of this deal was Mike took my pristine 1940 Chevy coupe in on trade. D&M is a High end sports car and Corvette dealer yet he took an antique car in on trade just to close the deal. My name is George W, I'm 65 years od, and always had a yearning for a corvette. I started looking at web sites just to see what was out there and came across D & M. It is not my custom to do reviews since I have very little faith in the whole review process. Either you're so mad at the product or the seller you write a scathing report or you're so enthralled 2 days after you buy you gush with enthusiasm. No one seems to take the time to evaluate and come to a proper review to help the people looking for information. So I hope my words will be of value for a potential customer. I started looking for a Corvette in October of 2013 all over the Midwest and D & M Motorsports was just one of the dealers I pestered for 4 months, in those months I met with Angie and Dave checking out the cars I previously viewed and all their new arrivals. At no time was I pressured to purchase and every meeting was cordial and all my questions were answered no matter how long it took. In February 2014 they got in the car I wanted and I made an offer they agreed too and with the contingency I could have the car checked out. Not only did they agree to my terms they even stored the car for a month till the weather broke and at no charge. The whole experience was 1st class and I was never treated better by a dealer new or used. I believe you have to remember you are dealing with used cars and anything can happen, which is not necessarily the fault of the seller. From the vehicles I looked at D & M all were in excellent shape and quality. The detailing of each car is outstanding and if you view the website and see the pictures you will see what I mean. I have been driving the car for over two months and again I am happy with my purchase and experience; please do your due-diligence and I think you will have the same results.

I believe that "trust" is key when it comes to buying car especially in the case of purchasing a car remotely. The only thing that I had to go on was provided pics over the web and a friendly voice on the other end of the line. But I assure you in a world of small shifty dealerships these guys are NOT THAT! I trust them (which is something that I never thought that I would say about a car dealer). The 2005 lotus that they sold me looks the same if not better sitting in my garage as they did in the pictures. The car runs great and is mint! It is one the finest examples of a low mile Elise that I had come across. They welcome 3rd party inspections and in that case as well the car passed with a perfect score. In short if you are going to "trust" someone with a purchase of a exotic car these are your "go to" guys.Dave and Angie were super professional. We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime for any reason. All vehicles sold as-is and without warranty. Some vehicles may still have original manufacturers warranty remaining, or an extended warranty may be available for purchase. Miles posted in this listing are actual, but may vary slightly due to local test drives. All cars come with one master key unless otherwise stated. Vehicles come with books and/or manuals only if pictured in the photo gallery or stated in the ad. The following terms of sale apply to all of our listings.
Payment
We accept the following as valid payment: Certified check, bank-to-bank wire transfers, approved in-house financing through D&M Motorsports or 3rd-party financing. Payment must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid on classifieds board auction vehicles. Due to the difficulty of foreign currency/bank transactions, purchases from clients outside of the United States, must pay by wire transfer only. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please call us with any questions.
Deposit
The winning bidder is required to submit a $500 NON- REFUNDABLE deposit which is due immediately following the close of the auction. This $500 deposit is good towards the purchase of the vehicle and will be deducted from the total amount of the purchase (unless otherwise requested). We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX), PAYPAL and/or personal checks for the initial deposit only. Our maximum deposit/partial payment by credit card is $2000.
If the vehicle cannot be picked up or paid for completely within 7-days from the close of auction, a $2,000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to extend our hold period to 14 days, unless other arrangements are made beforehand (just keep us informed, we're human, we recognize unforeseeable events). All deposits and fees collected are NON-REFUNDABLE in the event the vehicle is not paid for. Contact us for details.
Balance of Payment Due
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus ALL applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle and the vehicle needs to be paid for in full. If the car is not paid for (or other arrangements are not made), we reserve the right to resell the vehicle seven days after the close of the classifieds board auction or receipt of deposit.
Additiona fees and taxes
Applicable fees are: (1) EVERY out-of-state transaction requires an additional $25.00 thirty-day Illinois drive-away permit fee and a $166.00 Illinois Documentary Fee. State sales tax is collected for all Illinois residents [7.25%] and City of Chicago residents are charged [8.5%]. We are also required to collect taxes for residents of tax- reciprocal states, which include: Arizona [5.60%], California [6.25%], Florida [6.0%], Hawaii [4.0%], Indiana [6.25%], Massachusetts [6.25%], Michigan [6.0%], and South Carolina [5.0%] or maximum $300.00.
Out of state buyers are responsible for ALL state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. We will provide you with proper sales tax documentation showing proof of the taxes we collect for you.
Vehicle Titles
In nearly every case, most vehicle titles are on hand and ready for delivery. Some vehicles need to be retitled to the dealer in Illinois, and some titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans in process of pay off. In these cases, there may be a short delay in receiving the title and/or documents which can take 10 to 21 days from the time we pay the vehicle off. While these instances are rare, D&M Motorsports guarantees that all vehicle titles are free and clear with no liens or liabilities on them. While we normally have all titles in our possession at the time of delivery, there are rare occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made via wire transfer or cashier's check, we will hold the title until ALL funds have cleared (typically 5-10 business days). Please call if you have any questions regarding our titling policy. ATTN International and Canadian Buyers: we can assist you by faxing proper sales and title documentation to the U.S. border crossing or shipping port of choice for you.
Vehicle Shipping
We will gladly coordinate shipping through a reputable shipping company - call us at phone for a FREE QUOTE or additional questions.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. D&M Motorsports only contracts with fully bonded and insured transportation services that will deliver the vehicle to your door. We are not affiliated with any transportation company and we assume NO responsibility for damages that may incur after your vehicle leaves our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company. You will pay for the shipping costs directly to the transportation company unless other arrangements are made. The transport usually takes about 1-3 days to set up. Once the carrier is set up, vehicle delivery usually takes between 2 and 10 days after the pick-up of the vehicle and varies by location, weather, holidays, etc. Please keep in mind that we are NOT affiliated with any shipping or transport companies. Once shipping has been coordinated, you will be provided with the shipping company information immediately so you can stay in contact with them to coordinate drop-off times.
Buyer Inspections
Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. D&M Motorsports has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for you to make an informed decision. Please be advised that used vehicles may have typical scratches, dings or minor wear and tear inherent with their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. Warranty Information and Extended Service Contracts
Some of our vehicles carry the balance of their new car factory warranty. Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, all vehicles are being sold "as-is". We offer extended warranties (most but not all cars will qualify); please contact us for details.
Notice to Bidders
We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. It is agreed by all parties in relation to any transaction involving this vehicle that the proper venue for any legal proceedings will be conducted in the state of Illinois. Miles posted in this listing may vary slightly due to local test driving, in-transit repairs, or road testing. Vehicles that are older than 10 years and/or have more than 100,000 miles will be sold as miles exempt. These are pre-owned vehicles and they are sold as 'as-is' condition. Vehicle Condition
We pride ourselves in finding the best vehicles to resell. While we do all in our power to recondition cars to nearly-new condition, please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and flaws, as is standard on ANY pre-owned vehicle that has been driven. All pre-owned vehicles may have dings, nicks, chips, scratches and any other marks that are associated with use consistent with age and mileage of the vehicle. Bid Retractions
Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.
Negative or Zero Feedback Bidders
We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding.
Successful Bidder
The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes and it is imperative that he/she must contact D&M Motorsports within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.
Non-Paying Bidder
If your deposit is not received within 24 hours of the close of auction, or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer. Venue for any legal action such as claims, motions, litigation, settlements, or any legal action associated with this sale from either the buyer or seller is to take place in the State of Illinois. Placing your bid on this auction constitutes your agreement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. In addition, all non-paying bidders will be held liable for a $500 re- listing fee that if not paid, WILL be filed with all 3 major credit bureaus. I had been wanting a Shelby gt500 since they started coming back out. it took me many years to save the money needed to buy this car. I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. When I found the one D&M had for sale I knew I wanted the car because it was 2010 grabber blue with red stripe ( never seen the combo before ) I always said I would never buy a car sight unseen but everything just felt right. They were great, helpful and most of all not pushy. I took a big risk in buying this car because if any issues It would take me a long time to save again. Worry no more, car arrived and is unbelievable. It was as advertised if not better. Still has new car smell and it has 9,300 miles. I cant be happier that I made this decision. Also of note had minor setback with missing wheel lock key and notified D&M to see if they had it. They never found it but offered to pay for replacement. Being that's the only misstep I think they came through with flying colors (grabber blue of course) did a little research and did find out this color combo is low production and was also the color combo picked by no other then Mr. Carroll Shelby himself. My name is Jim and I have been collecting cars for over 46 years. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. Because of the low miles on the car Dave arranged with Mike to deliver the car in an enclosed trailer to my home. Mike is the President & owner of D&M yet he took the time to deliver the car himself. In 67 years I have never taken the time to write a review on anyone, but D&M is truly special. Kevin & Angie were also fun to talk with and my entire experience was like hanging out with good friends. I went back to pick up my plates and ended up buying a 2001 Vette. The truly unusual part of this deal was Mike took my pristine 1940 Chevy coupe in on trade. D&M is a High end sports car and Corvette dealer yet he took an antique car in on trade just to close the deal. I have been back several times just to wander their fantastic show room because every week they get in four or five different cars. My name is George W, I'm 65 years old, and always had a yearning for a corvette. I started looking at web sites just to see what was out there and came across D & M. The photos and detailed description of each car is outstanding and gives you a feel for the vehicle. I was a total novice and didn't have a clue what to look for or what questions to ask. I spoke with Angie and she was very helpful in explaining the different models and options. I pretty much zeroed in on one car, thought about it for a couple of days and called her back and ordered it. Everything was professionally handled over the phone or internet. The car had to be transported 600 miles, the first transporter didn't have the proper equipment, so D&M refused to load my car and arranged for a second transporter. It is not my custom to do reviews since I have very little faith in the whole review process. Either you're so mad at the product or the seller you write a scathing report or you're so enthralled 2 days after you buy you gush with enthusiasm. No one seems to take the time to evaluate and come to a proper review to help the people looking for information. So I hope my words will be of value for a potential customer. I started looking for a Corvette in October of 2013 all over the Midwest and D & M Motorsports was just one of the dealers I pestered for 4 months, in those months I met with Angie and Dave checking out the cars I previously viewed and all their new arrivals. At no time was I pressured to purchase and every meeting was cordial and all my questions were answered no matter how long it took. In February 2014 they got in the car I wanted and I made an offer they agreed too and with the contingency I could have the car checked out. Not only did they agree to my terms they even stored the car for a month till the weather broke and at no charge. The whole experience was 1st class and I was never treated better by a dealer new or used. I believe you have to remember you are dealing with used cars and anything can happen, which is not necessarily the fault of the seller. From the vehicles I looked at D & M all were in excellent shape and quality. The detailing of each car is outstanding and if you view the website and see the pictures you will see what I mean. I have been driving the car for over two months and again I am happy with my purchase and experience; please do your due-diligence and I think you will have the same results.

I believe that "trust" is key when it comes to buying car especially in the case of purchasing a car remotely. The only thing that I had to go on was provided pics over the web and a friendly voice on the other end of the line. But I assure you in a world of small shifty dealerships these guys are NOT THAT! I trust them (which is something that I never thought that I would say about a car dealer). The 2005 lotus that they sold me looks the same if not better sitting in my garage as they did in the pictures. The car runs great and is mint! It is one the finest examples of a low mile Elise that I had come across. They welcome 3rd party inspections and in that case as well the car passed with a perfect score. In short if you are going to "trust" someone with a purchase of a exotic car these are your "go to" guys.Dave and Angie were super professional. We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime for any reason. All vehicles sold as-is and without warranty. Some vehicles may still have original manufacturers warranty remaining, or an extended warranty may be available for purchase. Miles posted in this listing are actual, but may vary slightly due to local test drives. All cars come with one master key unless otherwise stated. Vehicles come with books and/or manuals only if pictured in the photo gallery or stated in the ad. The following terms of sale apply to all of our listings.
Payment
We accept the following as valid payment: Certified check, bank-to-bank wire transfers, approved in-house financing through D&M Motorsports or 3rd-party financing. Payment must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid on classifieds board auction vehicles. Due to the difficulty of foreign currency/bank transactions, purchases from clients outside of the United States, must pay by wire transfer only. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please call us with any questions.
Deposit
The winning bidder is required to submit a $500 NON- REFUNDABLE deposit which is due immediately following the close of the auction. This $500 deposit is good towards the purchase of the vehicle and will be deducted from the total amount of the purchase (unless otherwise requested). We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX), PAYPAL and/or personal checks for the initial deposit only. Our maximum deposit/partial payment by credit card is $2000.
If the vehicle cannot be picked up or paid for completely within 7-days from the close of auction, a $2,000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to extend our hold period to 14 days, unless other arrangements are made beforehand (just keep us informed, we're human, we recognize unforeseeable events). All deposits and fees collected are NON-REFUNDABLE in the event the vehicle is not paid for. Contact us for details.
Balance of Payment Due
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus ALL applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle and the vehicle needs to be paid for in full. If the car is not paid for (or other arrangements are not made), we reserve the right to resell the vehicle seven days after the close of the classifieds board auction or receipt of deposit.
Additional fees and taxes
Applicable fees are: (1) EVERY out-of-state transaction requires an additional $25.00 thirty-day Illinois drive-away permit fee and a $166.00 Illinois Documentary Fee. State sales tax is collected for all Illinois residents [7.25%] and City of Chicago residents are charged [8.5%]. We are also required to collect taxes for residents of tax- reciprocal states, which include: Arizona [5.60%], California [6.25%], Florida [6.0%], Hawaii [4.0%], Indiana [6.25%], Massachusetts [6.25%], Michigan [6.0%], and South Carolina [5.0%] or maximum $300.00.
Out of state buyers are responsible for ALL state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. We will provide you with proper sales tax documentation showing proof of the taxes we collect for you.
Vehicle Titles
In nearly every case, most vehicle titles are on hand and ready for delivery. Some vehicles need to be retitled to the dealer in Illinois, and some titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans in process of pay off. In these cases, there may be a short delay in receiving the title and/or documents which can take 10 to 21 days from the time we pay the vehicle off. While these instances are rare, D&M Motorsports guarantees that all vehicle titles are free and clear with no liens or liabilities on them. While we normally have all titles in our possession at the time of delivery, there are rare occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made via wire transfer or cashier's check, we will hold the title until ALL funds have cleared (typically 5-10 business days). Please call if you have any questions regarding our titling policy. ATTN International and Canadian Buyers: we can assist you by faxing proper sales and title documentation to the U.S. border crossing or shipping port of choice for you.
Vehicle Shipping
We will gladly coordinate shipping through a reputable shipping company - call us at phone for a FREE QUOTE or additional questions.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. D&M Motorsports only contracts with fully bonded and insured transportation services that will deliver the vehicle to your door. We are not affiliated with any transportation company and we assume NO responsibility for damages that may incur after your vehicle leaves our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company. You will pay for the shippng costs directly to the transportation company unless other arrangements are made. The transport usually takes about 1-3 days to set up. Once the carrier is set up, vehicle delivery usually takes between 2 and 10 days after the pick-up of the vehicle and varies by location, weather, holidays, etc. Please keep in mind that we are NOT affiliated with any shipping or transport companies. Once shipping has been coordinated, you will be provided with the shipping company information immediately so you can stay in contact with them to coordinate drop-off times.
Buyer Inspections
Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. D&M Motorsports has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for you to make an informed decision. Please be advised that used vehicles may have typical scratches, dings or minor wear and tear inherent with their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. D&M Motorsports welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection (specifically if you live in a state that requires a state inspection). Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees. Warranty Information and Extended Service Contracts
Some of our vehicles carry the balance of their new car factory warranty. Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, all vehicles are being sold "as-is". No representations or standard warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. We offer extended warranties (most but not all cars will qualify); please contact us for details.
Notice to Bidders
We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. It is agreed by all parties in relation to any transaction involving this vehicle that the proper venue for any legal proceedings will be conducted in the state of Illinois. Miles posted in this listing may vary slightly due to local test driving, in-transit repairs, or road testing. Vehicles that are older than 10 years and/or have more than 100,000 miles will be sold as miles exempt. These are pre-owned vehicles and they are sold as 'as-is' condition. Buyer is urged to contact D&M Motorsports before hitting the "Buy-It-Now" Button to insure vehicle availability. Vehicle Condition
We pride ourselves in finding the best vehicles to resell. While we do all in our power to recondition cars to nearly-new condition, please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and flaws, as is standard on ANY pre-owned vehicle that has been driven. All pre-owned vehicles may have dings, nicks, chips, scratches and any other marks that are associated with use consistent with age and mileage of the vehicle. Any known obvious defects that are not normal wear and tear will be noted in the listing. DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING, please ask if you have any questions.
Bid Retractions
Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.
Negative or Zero Feedback Bidders
We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding.
Successful Bidder
The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes and it is imperative that he/she must contact D&M Motorsports within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.
Non-Paying Bidder
If your deposit is not received within 24 hours of the close of auction, or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer. Venue for any legal action such as claims, motions, litigation, settlements, or any legal action associated with this sale from either the buyer or seller is to take place in the State of Illinois. Placing your bid on this auction constitutes your agreement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. In addition, all non-paying bidders will be held liable for a $500 re- listing fee that if not paid, WILL be filed with all 3 major credit bureaus. You are entering into a Legal Purchase that should not be taken lightly. No excuses of any kind will be accepted by D&M Motorsports for non-Payment.
