Description: 

A RareExceptional 1964 Dunphy X55 17' Wood Runabout Antique Classic Boat with Trailer. The engine is a Ford V8, 312cid215 HP. The engine was overhauled four years agoand hasless then 20 hours on it. The boat is an inboard straight shaft with a 12 X 15 Prop. It is a 17' closed bow.

The carburetors were also rebuilt at the time the engine and transmission were.An electronic ignition distributor has been installed. The hull was redone awhile ago. It has a new plastic gas tank and new fuel lines and hoses. It has all original equipment except the steering wheel and the fuel gauge. I have the original fuel gauge that can be rebuilt to be used. The boat was surveyed in 2008 when we purchased it and found to be in excellent condition

There is an Air Dock Boat Lift available and dock box at extra cost if interested.

Cover, bumpers, original Instruction Manual. Wooden form slats and many other extras not listed.

This boat is a real all original classiclooker. Was said to do 55 mph and hence named the X-55

I would love this boat to surprise my 82 yr old amazing dad, this was his first boat, he loved it so much, we skied on Lake Tahoe, and Lake Shasta and the Kings River, and Shaver Lake. The boats name was the Melanie Ann after me. I know he would be blessed with overflowing joy and many many more amazing adventures with this boat. Please save it for me.
